I GOT BANNED FOR NO REASON!

I Literally got banned for no reason. I am on a smurf account and RIOT hits me with a 10 game chat restriction with in 3 days! DIDNT EVEN GET A WARNING saying i will get penalized for further abuse (all i was doing was telling the people that were new how to build and play!) I just got of my 10 game restriction yesterday, and I GET BANNED TILL THE 12th TODAY! I had absolutely 0 opportunity to PROVE i am not toxic!

I was supposed to get a WARNING > 5 Game Chat Restriction > 10 Game Chat Restriction > 20 Game Chat Restriction > 25 Game Chat Restriction > 1 Day Ban > 3 Day Ban > 1 Week Ban > 2 Week Ban > (Optional Second 2 Week Ban) > Perma Ban.

It SKIPPED my Warning, my 5 Game Chat Restriction all the way to 25 Game Chat Restriction AND my 1 day 3 day and 1 week Ban and put me STRAIGHT TO 2 WEEKS! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS???

MY friend got perma banned and he went through ALL THESE bans till he got perma banned@ (he put over $300 on it) I haven't put money on this smurf acc yet. SO DOES THAT MEAN BECAUSE IM NOT SPENDING MONEY I GET UNFAIR AND UNJUST TREATMENT?! WHAT IS THIS?!

I thought this game was about balance but as i said, all they care about is money...

No its not, i would know cuz my best friend went through ALL of those. even so, it skipped my 25 game CR and no Warning.

what the hell?! why the hell did they change it and make it so damn strict when the report system is constantly abused??? These guys are so stupid.. System gets abuse = More strict bans for little things* and they want to add voice chat to a game like this? gg wp im so done. also watch who you call a kid, Im a Marine not some kid in middle school.

Well not our fault you never kept yourself updated at all times. It doesn't stay Season 5 forever.

Plus, being a Marine or some obese kid in front of the computer screen eating nothing but Doritos, it does not give you special treatment in any sort of way.

Send a ticket to Riot Support for the chat logs, or a specific reason to your punishment. You're not getting any further whining in this thread.

Well for one, if you want to start a problem, a public board is not one place considering everyone can see your toxic and ignorant display. Also i'm almost 80% sure you don't know how to read because you lack the completely obvious answers that i had given in the above chat logs...

literally i got a 10 day chat restriction for 2 games i was super toxic, (i put the chat longs in another post for those of you crying to see it) and i only said "GG WP" all game. but got banned like i said this system is fucked. and they refuse to give me the chatlogs that resulted in my ban when i submitted a ticket. Total BS.

I find it really hard to believe that they refused to give you the chat logs. Post the entire ticket here so we can see what really happened there.

its been 5 days now and they gave me chat logs for the 10 game chat-ban =_= it was in the email when i got my 10 game chat-ban and apparently its used for a ban as well. that's such bs, and i'm waiting for them to fix this.

I honestly think you shouldn't be smurfing because all you're doing is ruining people's game with your attitude. There are these people in silver/bronze desperately trying to get out of there. Then there's you not giving a flying TEEMO if you lose the game because you already have a main with a higher rank.

Imo I think challengers/masters are reliable on smurfs because it is way too competitive in that elo. And even if they do smurf, they will start at gold V and climb really fast anyways.

I am sure that players will abuse the report option. However, false reports will be thrown out and will reduce the credibility of future reports from that account. As long as a player follows the TOS that they agree too every patch then they do not have to worry about receiving punishments.

From everything I have seen on the forms and in game the report system works really well. And the rare instances where a player is wrongfully punished Riot is always quick to respond and revert the suspension.

It is not strict. It is only strict for people with poor attitude. I haven't been banned sinced season 2. I stopped being a whiny baby after receiving a 1 day ban.

THERE WHERE NONE! That's my problem! After my 10 game restriction i have never said a thing in the chat except for GG WP at the End Screen before clicking PLAY AGAIN. Its Ridiculous!

Check your email/spam folder for them. If they're not there then respectfully write in to Riot Support asking for them. You're not gonna get much in the way of help here until you post some chat logs first.

I think they went through today and banned a bunch of people, personally I never received an email on what caused the ban so I'm trying to get riot to resend or share with me the info they have that may have caused my ban.

Same bro, i have submitted a ticket asking why i got banned and for what cause. if they don't release the info I will probably go straight down to HQ in LA and demand a talk with the game management group. I have all access to it too since my commander has granted me free mobility.

The punishment system only has 4 stages, the first punishment is a 10 chat ban, then 25 days, then a 14 day suspension, and finally a permanent suspension.

It is impossible to get a 5 or 20 chat restriction, and it is impossible to get a 1 day, 3 day, or 1 week suspension. The 10 day chat ban is your first warning, and means that you have been reported enough to escalate your account to receive a punishment. This also means that your account will be more sensitive to bad behavior and if the behavior continues the next punishment will occur even sooner.

The amount of time or money spent on an account has no impact on whether or not a player will get banned. Only an individual player's behavior will determine what happens to their account.
