It's a dick move, but not punishable.

Nope. You're allowed to ban whatever you want.

Dynikus12/2/2018, 2:01:35 AM9 votes

No, it's not bannable, but it's still generally a shitty thing to do.

No its prefectly fine to bann yasuo even if hes intended in fact its the right thing to do.

Remember kids bann yasuo every game.

Usually when you do that people will probably troll your game so even if you do it and its not bannable it still doesnt really help you win games.

Probably not, the Riot ban system is weird and wonky and you could just type my bad into the chat and be totally fine

It is bannable if it's proven you specifically target allied champions. Actually, everything is bannable if Riot feels like it, there is no defined letter of the law. Here is what Tantram doesn't hesitate to write by his own hand.

You ban your teammates champ picks You pick non-meta champs to tilt teammates You build those non-meta champs as non-meta as possible (ad mages, etc) You intentionally steal farm You intentionally KS You don't go to the lane assigned, and instead go to interfere with others You leave your team when a teamfight breaks out

Just adorable.

No and i rather it stays that way, because if someone hovering a champ doesn't have first pick and that champion is broken then im banning it.

Inkling Commando12/2/2018, 4:48:38 AM2 votes

no but the tantrum they throw at you for doing so is reportable.

I mean if you are gonna have a blitzcrank jungle I think banning that would probably give u a better chance at winning the game with a different jungler or a champion.

It seems like there is quite a disconnect between you guys and Riot games.

This is why I wait till last second to ban. So when my teammate bans my champion, I can ban his champion in retaliation, which often forces a dodge.

Rocnation9812/2/2018, 2:08:17 PM1 votes

I can yasuo especially if I see my team mate hover yasuo.

while it is seen as a dick move, It is NOT BANNABLE. NOT a punishable offence. Banning phase is a FEATURE. If they were to punish people for a feature next thing you know they would be banning people for getting a champ before another player.

You make them play Blue Shen or Disco Nunu and run it down mid so it counts as Intentionnal Feeding AND Negative Attitude.

Deliberately doing so to piss them off might count as harassment, I suppose. The tricky question is how you prove that somebody did it deliberately to piss their teammate off.
