We need severe punishment for people intentionally assisting enemy teams in Ranked.

So first of all i want to tell you a story this dude who's name shall not be mentioned as i assume it would be flagged as witch hunting recently decided that he was god over our game and wanted us to lose on purpose. He openly admitted to assisting the enemy team on several occassions both in our own and in all chat, which ultimately lead to our defeat. He simply right clicked the enemy base and died along the way or afk'd in our spawn spamming laugh emotes and boasting about us deserving to lose in the chat. Things to consider here is that first of all our team was winning at this point and second of all this dude was in his promo. It's insane that he should have the ability to decide that a game should be lost simply because he thinks that we deserve to lose.

People like this shouldnt be allowed in your game at all especially not ranked since ranked is supposed to be the one place where everyone takes everything seriously, it's a competitive scene no matter what rank you're in and you should at any time play your best and do everything you can to learn, improve and win - people not doing so simply shouldn't queue up for ranked and those who do and ruin it on purpose should be severely punished imo. Basically it is very frustrating to people who wants to play competitively to queue up with people who don't take the game seriously when it comes to ranked.

More often than not i have players mentioning they don't care, that it's just a game, they don't care if they win or lose, laughing if people dies, refusing to listen to calls, refusing to listen to ideas for builds or playstyles e.g. prepare to dodge or care inc. from here and there. They simply want to play a game of league. They just want to relax with the game and that's perfectly fine, all my respect to these people, by all means play. Just don't play ranked. Half assed players who doesn't care can't and shouldn't be punished i guess, i'll just have to plead that they don't go into my games or realise that they're just ruining the ranked experience for others by not caring at all - i mean, it can't be right that i have to climb to high diamond to play with serious players - but players who intentionally assists the enemy team should be punished.

I have a couple ideas for punishments for people who does these kind of things:

1. Strip them of their ranked privileges. They can play the game and purchase stuff in the store but just aren't allowed to play ranked. Whether this should be permanent, till season end or just for X amount of days (At least 14 days imo) can be discussed. I know it sounds severe but the only thing the internet responds to is instantaneous punishments. Warnings and words are null and void to people these days. You need to be strict.

2. Have the system check up on assisting enemy team reports and give the total lost LP to the player who committed the crime and give the individual lost LP back to the other players. If the player who did the crime is in promo give him a loss, if he only has 14 LP but is sentenced to lose a total of e.g. 50 then just let him lose the 14 putting him at 0 LP. If the players who needs compensation is in promo either don't give them anything, since a win would be too much, or add it to their LP pool in case they lose their promo (Maximum of 99 LP after a lost promo from compensation). You don't get compensated if you win your promo since it doesn't seem fair to give free LP in a new division since theoretically you're at a new level of play compared to where you needed compensation.

As of now i'm seeing no way to abuse it or anything like it while actually only making it fair for everyone else. MMR wise you can't change anything for the lost game and we all respect that, but the tiny compensation of LP would be a godsend while not actually impacting the ranked ladder. Ultimately this would incentivize not assisting the enemy team and thus we'd hopefully completely get rid of people committing this offense.

I would love feedback and hopefully this forum isn't a circlejerk like Reddit who refuses to discuss ways to punish people but merely demeans and downvotes everyone touching the subject. Feel free to come with your own ideas if you have any and to those who thinks this is a rant from a one time thing then this basically happens way too often to me. Lately it has been happening in at least 1 out of 3 games and sometimes more often. I just want to make America great aga-_ ahem_, the Rift great again!
