So... I think I just got... reported?

I'm not sure if I should post this in here or even Bug Report, 'cause then again, I have no concrete info about what happened.

So I'm wanting to have some fun on playing some Normal TB, hop on League, pick Corki 'cuz why not, he's fun to play and free. In lane vs a Illaoi/MF combo, annoying but not impossible, we get some nice trades, some not so nice, I tick 3 and they all in, I tap my heal key, and it doesn't works, I die. Instantly after that everybody is frozen in their animations (Illaoi/MF and my Bard) were standing, and the Skarner that came in to gank was just walking in a straight line, I could tell, that's it, I DC 100%. I'm on TS with the Bard, and everything is normal, no distorted voice associated with unstable/slow internet. And she's fine, so theoretically not the servers, albeit not long after she got 800 ping spike. Anyways, so my internet is fine, everything is nominal, but I got DCed, I wait for a minute or so and nothing, so I Alt+F4 and try to reconnect annnnnnd I get Error'd.

I keep trying for the next 5 minutes or so, and I even restart my PC in a last ditch effort. But alas, it keeps erroring me. Bard tries to explain what happened, but apparently everybody and their moms decided to ignore it, and assume that I rage'd because of the FB? Apparently Skarner also died in the gank attempt and gave MF double buffs. But I digress. Point is, I keep getting this error and when it's finally over, and everyone on either team thinks I just raged???? Even though I've never quit a game on purpose in my life (aside from custom testing my internet of course). And now I get this. The icing on the cake, so that's neat... Thanks Rito for that piece of spaghetti.

Regardless of if it was Rito's fault, my ISP, or someone in between, doesn't Leaver Buster acknowledges DCing? It even said on the client when I could click "Reconnect" - "The game has crashed please try to reconnect". So why the hell am I being punished, reported, and treated as if I'm just a sick asshole that's out for making everyone miserable for absolutely no reason. Granted, I'm not a peachy flower, but come on... Anyways, it goes without saying that first and foremost I'd love it if this issue were identified as Rito's for it to be fixed. Secondly and not so importantly, I'd love if I didn't get punished for wanting and trying to play a game that didn't let me get on...? Not making demands but asking for a little help? Idk, anyways, thanks if you read this wall of text, I wish you fun out there, and also appreciate any sort of attention/help given to this matter.

These are some general fixes on connection issues

If you need more help you can submit a ticket here

Leaverbuster just noticed you left a game. It would take you more than 1 game (usually) to get put into low priority que. I would also suggest that you put this on Help&Support page, that's more of what this deals with.

Edit: Just started watching Valkrin's stream and he said that he was having issues with the client as well, may not be just you.

That is a firewall error caused by your computer... Check the FAQ's and google for fixes towards this problem.

First- losing connection without ping can happen if your internet is wonky. Also, you won't be punished for that, that's only a first warning. It'll be a few more leaves before you end up in low priority queue.

Unlikely since I haven't had any problems up until now, but I understand the general consensus to point the most likely culprit.

Myeah, it could be indeed, like I said in the original post, my problem is not that, my problem is my internet was not showing any signs of problems in any other medium. And yet, I couldn't get back INTO the game, Rito just didn't allow me... Then again, I guess the reason was it was still wonky?.... I don't know... It's a possibility I guess.

True, and I comprehend the Leaver Buster part, just it's sad I couldn't even get back in, after several minutes and attempts.

This is because The reports and the game in general can't distinguish between a disconnection, AFK, and people who just rage quit. I agree with you that something could be done about it. However, what makes it difficult is that the game cannot figure out if it was your internet or not. That would take a lot of coding work and theoretically I think that is impossible to do anyway. Although, If it was a major server crash by riot in which the whole server had problems or went down, then you normally get a loss prevented. But again, it is just a warning so my advice is: leave league of legends alone for awhile and come back in a few hours/days however long it takes and you should be good. Check internet connections as well. Hope this helps some.

Absolutely, as soon as I noticed I couldn't connect at all for 10 minutes, I just asked my Support to tell ppl it would be OK to either give mid up or just surrender as a whole, since it is normals after all. And I imagined the less time I'd waste of everyone the better ye? But as soon as it was said and done I closed the client and resumed my day. Unfortunate but oh well, what can you do.

Ignore the BS about firewalls and unstable internet.

"You have been disconnected from the server" It says while my internet is up with youtube in the background while I chat with another person on the LoL client.

Anyways, something similar to this is on the front of the LoL forums page with a couple of upvotes.
