Still Honor Lvl 2

Just wondering what I can do to get out of honor level 2. I am not a toxic player, never have been toxic and never have gotten any penalty for it. I'm relatively new to the game since I started back in June, but I'm wondering how I can get to honor level 3. A lot of my other friends have reached it, some of them Honor levels 4 and 5. They constantly make fun of me for still being honor level 2. And to be honest I don't even know what I do differently. They just do the same stuff as me, yet they are growing in honor and I'm still stuck. If anyone could give any helpful advice for me that would be great thanks! :D

Your teammates need to vote to honor you after the game. Do good things/behave well/carry in-game and you will gain honor.

You gain honor passively even if you are never honored by anyone in any game. The fact that you are still honor 2 this late only mean either you play like 2,3 games a week (even then) or you got your honor reset by punishment and have to climb back up. You get to honor 3 by simply play more games (whether you get honored or not) and not get punished.

you have to play more games
a lot of honors come from when you carry your team to victory, if you re a new player thats less likely to happen
try some aram games or featured game modes where people dont care so much about the victory and just have fun

i have a friend who is very new to league and he hit honor 3 pretty quickly by playing mostly bot games and some normals

do you honor every game? for that extra honor experience when all 5 team mates honor? even if all 5 team mates don't honor I think you get more honor for honoring others no matter what.
