Still Honor Lvl 2

Just wondering what I can do to get out of honor level 2. I am not a toxic player, never have been toxic and never have gotten any penalty for it. I'm relatively new to the game since I started back in June, but I'm wondering how I can get to honor level 3. A lot of my other friends have reached it, some of them Honor levels 4 and 5. They constantly make fun of me for still being honor level 2. And to be honest I don't even know what I do differently. They just do the same stuff as me, yet they are growing in honor and I'm still stuck. If anyone could give any helpful advice for me that would be great thanks! :D

Your teammates need to vote to honor you after the game. Do good things/behave well/carry in-game and you will gain honor.

No, those are just for the Flairs when leveling 3-5. For all levels, you gain honor passively even if you don't see one appear after a match. Better is when a full team honors everyone cause then it will tell you that you gained more and that's what helps move up better.

Yeah that's what's been going on for the past month now, but I'm still honor lvl 2. Just wondering why or what's the reason that I'm still lvl 2 is all.

Well, if you consistently play Riot has said it will generally take 2 months for level progression. So depending on how often you play it can go up faster or slower.

I have been for a long time. Never gotten punished or anything. I get honors 9/10 games. Still lvl 2. No punishments EVER either.

You gain honor passively even if you are never honored by anyone in any game. The fact that you are still honor 2 this late only mean either you play like 2,3 games a week (even then) or you got your honor reset by punishment and have to climb back up. You get to honor 3 by simply play more games (whether you get honored or not) and not get punished.

I've never gotten any punishment. And I've been playing everyday consistently since the honor update. I'm just confused is all as to why I still haven't gotten it when I do play to win and have been consistently.

you have to play more games
a lot of honors come from when you carry your team to victory, if you re a new player thats less likely to happen
try some aram games or featured game modes where people dont care so much about the victory and just have fun

i have a friend who is very new to league and he hit honor 3 pretty quickly by playing mostly bot games and some normals

I play almost every single day. At least 3 games or more. I play normals usually. I'm just really confused. I've never been toxic ever.

do you honor every game? for that extra honor experience when all 5 team mates honor? even if all 5 team mates don't honor I think you get more honor for honoring others no matter what.

I always honor. Very rarely do I not honor anyone. I feel as if I'm not getting honor lvl 3 because I wasn't around for the old honor system. Most people that I know who have been around then have gotten lvl 3 easily.
