Question about AFKs

If someone does this and I report them for AFK, since they didn't get kicked by the system for AFK, do I get flagged for a false report? They say if your report counts as false, your future reports matter less. I mean, like, I don't know. Does Riot even have access to the game to see if they AFK or not or do they just see if the person gets flagged for AFK (i.e. gets kicked off the game)? If it gets flagged as a false report, I'm gonna stop reporting people who do this, since if my report does nothing, I'm just hurting my report integrity for no reason. I. Need. To. Know.

First of all, which idiot downvotes for a good question? Riot got these answer nowhere pinned and this person here knows more then the average player (the point with false reports and value of your reports)

Answer to your question:

even if he was running huge circles in the base, as long as he isn't doing anything for real like farming or killing monster in the jungle he will be marked as afk if he does it too long. This behaviour in the video is punishable.

Don't worry about it. If you feel your report is justified then you've done the right thing (more or less). Reports are a lot like you voting for what kind of behavior should be punished. Since the Leaver Buster system works independently of reports (an afk'er gets punished whether reported or not) AFK reports are most likely used to track an individuals behavior so the system can learn from it, and/or to trigger manual reviews when the system is incapable of detecting the way they are not participating in the match properly.

This is totally reportable. What riot generally does is that when players accumulate quite a few reports then they look into them and at game footage etc to see if they should be punished and what that punishment is.
