Autofill rant

Hello everyone,

I didn't really know where to post this, but I guess this forum is as good as any. I'm here to talk about low elo autofills, and why it should be reduced. At the moment, roughly 50% (if not more) of my games have a support who was autofilled. And 90% of those games, the person who got autofilled REALLY didn't want to play support, and will just either trollpick (shaco support, katarina support, anivia support, etc) or just decide "hey, fuck it, i'm not playing support" and play the role they wanted anyway. I can't even count the number of games I've lost solely because of the autofill support, and I must say I'd prefer waiting an extra 3-5 minutes if that means I don't get an angry, tilted trollpick support in my team.

Role calling wasn't any different.

I know role calling was worse, and i'm not saying we should bring role calling back. I'm saying autofill should not happen as often in lower elos because in any case the time you have to wait for a game isn't that long. In diamond and chall, queues can last over 20 minutes, and autofill is the only way to get past that problem, but in silver/gold? come on. 5 minutes maximum and you've got all you need, without having to autofill someone to support. And yes it DOES happen that often. In my past 30 games i've had 20 autofill supports.
