This is the second suspension I've ever gotten, first was a 20 game chat restriction for calling a 0/17 kindred "dummy head idiot", this is a 14 day game suspension though. So basically what happened is my team gave zed 3 kills by 5 minutes, and doubles, so I was already annoyed and tilted knowing my lane was over. I asked to ff at 15, which we didn't do, instead my adc inted while the rengar akali and leona all flamed me because I fed my laner, when I died to him for the first time at 14 minutes. Obviously it's not good to tilt, but my team was flaming me for their inting of my laner... which makes no sense at all and is just annoying, I muted most of them but communicating with jg is important so I left rengar unmuted, he was also the first to die to zed, and one of the biggest flamers on the team. The game went on and we eventually lost, Leona dc'd at 16 minutes or so, Caitlyn at like 22, and akali sat in nexus for the last 5 minutes of the game, while she and rengar flamed each other. I had a 20 game chat suspension a few months ago for saying to a 0/17 kindred who didn't ult in teamfights "Why didn't you hop over the wall dummy head idiot!". I don't really care that I'm suspended at this point, it's annoying but honestly I think I'm planning on quitting the game, it's ridiculous the toxicity, such as inting and calling people "Retarded silver 65" my teamates have been getting away with recently while I get a chat ban, or a game ban for stating facts in a game, and for not wanting to surrender. I know this sounds like bitching and that's because it is, it's just lame that I can't play the game but at the same time I don't know if I even enjoy it anymore, dropping from honor 4 to having my honor locked at dishonorable for calling an inter an idiot is ridiculous, and I don't think my honor can even recover now with how the system is, I'll link the match in here somewhere. Bye for now everyone, maybe not just for now though, cause I'm getting sick of getting banned for "flaming" when there's a mute button.

This is a snippet of what type of behavior likely got you banned.

Accusing people of intentionally feeding and attacking people because of their rank is no good. Your punishment this time was likely a 14-day ban because of you standing on the punishment ladder.

Heyo, I wasn't flaming him for his rank, in fact he was doing that to me and so I simply stated he had no room to flame over rank when he wasn't my rank. I'm usually pretty respectful of people based on rank but this guy was just a jerk. Also he wasn't inting, never accused him either.

You also had snippets where you gave up (saying "ff at 15" and similar things), as well as many snippets of argumentative and combative behaviors. Just because someone else started it doesn't give you the right to be negative or be a jerk to others.

I understand that, however if they're flaming harder than me, and flaming me over my rank claiming I'm silver 5, shouldn't they also be punished for their behavior? There shouldn't be a double standard wherein I'm punished but they're not. I wouldn't have posted at all if they had also been banned, because I understand that what I did wasn't right, but neither was what they did. So then, what gives them the right to flame and not get banned, while I do get banned, that's all.

This all boils down to one simple question:

Did you report them?

If no, then it's less than likely that they'll get punished. If yes, then it's more than likely they'll get punished. Either way, their behavior and punishment status is irrelevant in a discussion about your behavior and punishment.

Yes I did report them, and it's not irrelevant if someone else doesn't get banned for doing the same thing as me, but worse. That's like saying case law is irrelevant when prosecuting a criminal, law is based on context, and rules are rather similar to laws, so again if I'm banned, they should be too. I'm not asking to get unbanned, just for them to be banned.

That's the end of that, then. There's nothing more to be said on that case - you reported them, they likely got their punishment - it's done. It's out of your hands, and it should be out of your mind.

Yes, it is irrelevant. There's no "I got banned, so x person should too!". Each player has their own individual punishment track, and no one person's punishments influence anyone else's. You got punished, and you getting punished does not mean whoever else gets a punishment too.

Their punishment status has no bearing, whatsoever in regards to yours.

...so again if I'm banned, they should be too.

Again, read my question and the hypothetical answers. DID YOU REPORT THE PLAYER? If the answer is "yes", and they broke the rules, then they will get punished. If the answer is "no", the IFS will not review their behavior on account of your nonexistent report, and no punishment will be met.

Anything beyond the answer of "yes" or "no" to that question is irrelevant.

I'm not asking to get unbanned, just for them to be banned.

Neither of those things are within your jurisdiction as a player to be met.

If you reported them they are likely banned. Riot cant tell you if they are or what kind of punishment they got due to privat stuff. Also this isnt court. This is the bouncer (Riot) trying to keep their club (league) clean.

But, here's the thing - you got a 14 day ban not based on this one game but based on your history of punishments and multiple poor games over your history. If they only flamed in this game (which we as players can't even know as we can't see their logs), they may very well not be at a level of toxicity that merits a punishment at this time.

I've only ever been punished once before, and it was a chat ban, seems a large leap, also I rarely flame.

So, on that note, there's an issue here. The punishment tiers are 10 game chat restrict, 25 game chat restrict, then 14 day ban, then permanent ban.

You very likely either had a 10 game chat restriction on your account that you don't remember, or you got the 25 game chat restriction by being toxic in a game between when your 10 game chat restriction was issued and when you realized it. Regardless, the 25 game chat restriction made very clear that further toxicity would result in a temporary suspension. Likewise, this ban makes clear that next time it is likely to be a permanent ban.

There is no acceptable frequency of flame. While Riot's systems will overlook a once in a blue moon bad game where you let loose a few lines of toxicity (we're talking less than one a month in most cases), it is not acceptable and any instances of toxicity, however "rare" they are, risk you getting punished.

That is exactly what happened though... I haven't flamed in 3 months, and if I had a 10 game chat restriction it was going back 1-2 years ago.

So, 3-4 months of what could best be described as less-than-active play (you play only every couple to every few days, and only a few games per time you play) is not enough time to "drop down" a punishment tier. Basically, it takes 3-4 months of active play to drop down, and that's if you aren't ever reported in other games.

Your chat restriction warned you that your next punishment would not be so lenient. The goal (and requirement) is you never flame - not "well I only flame rarely". It is obvious the chat restriction did not convince you to meet that goal, hence why the punishment escalates.

? What do you mean I'm lying? I linked that so you can see exactly what happened. Rengar died to zed first, then my bot lane, then I died to him, now 3/0/1 at like 12 minutes. I have no idea what you're referring to so you can just keep mulling over the info I guess.
