Adding a new "vote kick" feature in champion select phase

I think we all had some negative experience of few ranked/draft pick mode especially in low elo when someone refused to play his role (autofiiled or not) or started flaming and being toxic thereby titling the whole team before the match even started!!

SO i was thinking why Riot doesn't give us a way to punish those scums other than your typical "Report after match" or forcing yourself to dodge the queue receiving punishment instead of the toxic guy >> Queue Dodge Timer + LP loss / 1 promo match loss in ranked [sg-janna]

Do we need a method of voting and kicking a team player during the champion select phase of if enough teammates agree ? thus this player will be flagged to the punishment system and rest of the team join another queue in piece. If so how many for the vote to pass ? and how can this be abused by premades and is there a way to make it abuse-proof?

Too abusable, people will look up Players and kick those with Low winrate, offrole, loosestreak or if someone wants to play offmeta, He will have a hard time.

Yeah as others have said... it would be nice for ME to have, but it's too abuseable and I don't trust other players with it lol. Like, I want it, but I just don't think it's a good idea to put that in.

This idea has been mentioned several times, and god I'd love it, but then some of the responses were about queue times being longer.

I can just imagine the qualms people will have about playing off-meta heroes. Even in Overwatch, where pro players played off-meta heroes and let them shine to their full potential, people would just castigate, bash, throw games over teammates choosing off-meta heroes like Bastion and Widowmaker. I'm afraid to think about what'll happen if there's a votekick function in LoL.

Besides, League's main selling point is its diverse roster of playable champions. A votekick will simply just make picks even more restrictive to the current meta. It defeats the entire purpose of the game.

Let's say someone wants to play teemo support, something which isn't forbidden at all, what if his teammates kicks him everytime because they don't want a teemo support ? I mean riot is very clear on the fact that you have the right to play off meta picks and strategies..

I really think this would be abused a lot, like "oh ! we could use a better jungler than volibear looking at the enemy teamcomp, let's kick this dude !", "Top matchup is lost already let's kick this guy !", "he has a 25% WR on this champ ffs kick him !!!", ...
