Getting permabanned and losing all the skins I bought made me stop being toxic

My previous account had tons of skins. I ended up with a 3rd strike (the previous 2 were old, so I guess they don't expire) and was permabanned. Ow my wallet, ow my time. But I like the game, so I came back with my tail between my legs and started again. I haven't been toxic at all since. Even when I end up in a game with 4 man premade who try to bait me and report me at the end of the game. I just report them now. I also furiously touch myself when I get a popup informing me my report caused a dillweed to be punished.

I think I just died laughing at that last part xD Great job on returning to League with a fresh outlook, and not letting other people bait you into stooping to their level! Y'know, in some of the Anonymous programs (like AA, NA, etc) they have chips that people get for being clean for so long. Sometimes I wish we had something kinda like that in League, where someone who was severely punished, but managed to come back and stay positive had something, that only they could see, that said "hey, you did it. you've stayed clean, and we're proud of you for it."

It didn't stop me from being toxic.

I was a perfectly nice player before I started playing League of Legends. It was League that taught me what it meant to be toxic.

I love this game... but I hate the people who play it.

Good job.... except that last part =\ reported.

I am glad someone likes the game.

Congrats on being able to turn your behavior around. I don't know how long ago your previous punishments were but they do "expire" so-to-speak in the sense that you can gradually get your account back in good standing if you show that your behavior has improved (not including permabans of course since those don't expire). Hopefully you'll have more fun and better luck on your current account than you did on your old one.

Best of luck in all of your future endeavors.

Yet I hear all the time from people that after their account was permabanned they made a slew of new accounts and used them specifically for trolling because they were pissed off they lost all their skins and progress. I believe more negative effects happen then positive ones tbh. And you can see it as the game is the most toxic it has ever been yet Riot claims their banning system is making it better and people aren't getting reported multiple times etc. It's bullshit. Been playing since Beta, the game has been at maximum toxicity these past three seasons and this one has been the most toxic season yet. Their system is completely ineffective and they don't want to admit it.

Well during my perm i became twice as toxic. Then i saw the dude that trolled me in thta game got perma'd for inting too and i became a good boy again. Muting chat and venting off outside the game si good for short tempered people.

What strike are you at after you get a 14 day ban?

Malcha10/2/2017, 1:46:44 PM1 votes

You should look into getting your account back. Riot sometimes is good about working with you if you've been making progress.

I had a roomate who got permabanned, however his previous offenses had been over a year ago and he had been consistently toxic/chatbanned for some time. He talked to riot, showed that he had cleaned up his act, and had a minor slip. They unbanned him and pretty much put him on a last warning kind of deal.

Showing progress does matter with them, especially if it's not the crazy KYS, hope your parents sell you for crack, go die, kinda vitriol we see around here.

So if you didn't do something insanely bad, I'd at least look into it unless you've spend a ton of money on this account already.

I maintain that these do not exist anymore. I've reported hundreds of people and gotten 1 report card. 1. in 2 years of playing.

I am just curious how many times did you get 14 days bans so you get a ban for toxicity?

pff who would still be toxic after having their money wasted on a game. you should have been toxic on a alt that way no money wasted ;)
