See, what you did wrong was that you talked to your teammates. If you don't /mute all at the beginning of the game your chances of getting banned go up by 60% roughly.
Yeah, don't mention you're gonna mute or report, just do it. People who act like they're the ones holding up the team but don't go 27/3/19 or the like aren't seen as hard carries but just whiny trolls who think they're good but aren't. League is a game, and it's meant to be fun. I had a game with a toxic Nunu (go figure) and a Shyvana who thought she was all that but threw the game invading for the other team's blue buff, then getting killed (followed by the rest of us).
Just have fun and enjoy whatever happens. When you get back on just play some norms cuz they don't count and play positively. Joke around with your opponent if they kill you, and realize that you're not perfect either. None of us are, not even Faker.
Ultimately, just try to remember why you started league in the first place and why you had fun. Understand that people playing league range in experience and even though someone might be a high rank, they might be boosted. You never know what you're gonna get in solo queue, but you have to deal with brand new teammates for 15~180 minutes, so make the most of it.
If you're mad at a teammate, you can always steal a buff and pop a thumbs up emote. If you don't say anything in chat, what evidence is there against you?

after you said muted and reported. i would have just muted and reported. ur report does nothing because its a premade bullying u and ur report has no value in reference to the 3 or whatever they will give. id submit a support ticket. i doubt that they wouldn't revert this punishment if you asked nicely. its absolutely ridiculous that things like this get punished. i get the cussing, harassment, and racial slurs are not okay, but this doesn't fit any of that. this is just harmless complaining. so what if its "negative" i can assure you what the other people were saying was negative as well. so what if it gives a negative vibe to the game, the mute button is also available. you can't just expect people to not retaliate when they are in a chat with 4 other people they cannot leave for almost an hour. not everyone has the self control to hit the mute button first.
i see no harassment, language, or slurs here...its a video game, and people are pretty likely to rage. the only thing going to make them rage more is giving punishments like this that are undeserved. how about the other 99 games this guy had to this one where his team honored him or enjoyed chatting with him? sometimes people like that get banned for one outburst and when those people who get banned, they make new accounts and become even more toxic because they rationalize that it really doesn't matter. league has the most toxic community in all of video games, and a big problem that accompanies that is the report system and people acting holier than thou.
to the op dude i hope you just learn to mute people in this scenario. if people come at you with a really negative berating type of energy, its because they are probably coming from a very negative life or life view on a regular basis. don't take it so personally, these are complete strangers who don't know anything about you, will never know you, and will probably never amount to anything that you affiliate or want to be a part of. get the heck away from them. don't let them drag you into their negative space with them by talking to them. they want you to do that, they are probably very lonely in some aspects. thats the way i look at people who try and be overly negative in this game and bring you down on your team. they are poison, they are diseased, and if you talk to them you will catch the disease too. i wanna stay healthy, i wanna move on and live a good life. thats the mindset i try to keep. i've probably muted 1/2 people on every single one of my teams the last 200 or so games. they don't have to say much tbh for me to just do it. i bet i've even muted some people who only said one offhand comment not directed really at anyone or with totally bad intentions, but if i get a bad feeling creeping up on me when i read it whether it be rage, sadness, or anything else besides comedic/constructive for team play...i just mute try and avoid the disease at all costs.
from a gameplay perspective, i think this has helped me a ton avoid scenarios where that one person ruins the whole game. often times u dont even know it but there are other people on your team who you can work with to win the game just you two, while the other 1 or 2 people just are lowlife trolls probably trying to throw the game in a way that isnt reportable because they are children overreacting to a video game. also alot of emotional bipolar/diarrhea coming from most those negative types alot of times they just act like nothing happen and start cooperating after saying whatever negative thing they say.
if you use chat regularly you Will end up banned.

It's cause of your attitude. You could've ignored it and just kept playing, but you constantly said GG, that seems like negative behavior, which is a reportable offense and therefore bannable.
