/surrender

I was playing ranked with bronzes(which I don't deserve) so I accepted one of my friend's normals invitation. The game goes on and were slowly but surely losing. Then at like more than half way through the game my friend started ff. I voted no for the reason never surrender. Then his reason was that we need to ff just because were losing. I tried to persuade him that just bc were losing doesn't mean lose the chance to practice your mechanics in the game. Then he stated that he was gonna get banned for playing bad and losing. I mean what was that? We were gonna lose either we surrender or not and you don't get banned for poor gameplay. He got recently banned for intentionally feeding. I mean that is a different story, there is even a category for int but not losing and giving ur best in the game whatever the result. I just want ppl to know that surrender is never a good option. You lose, so what, you can still practice for your future games. And somehow if your enemies get tilted or throws the game, or your team just managed to comeback and turn over the game, the more reason to not surrender! I get ppl doing /remake bc in ranked you don't want to lose ip or promos(altho there is a bug that does that even /remake). But if you surrender, you will be the loser who just didn't gave his best. Have a nice day summoners. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Sometimes it is just a matter of practicality. Sure, people throw and comebacks happen. But waiting for the other team to throw is not a very compelling game to be in. Sometimes you are just out matched. Sometimes it is better to just cut your losses and move on.

People need to get over the idea that there is a right or wrong answer to wanting to surrender. It is entirely, personal preference, that is why its a vote. Typically I just vote with the majority. If 3 people don't think a game is winnable then there it won't be so forcing them to stay is just wasting time.
