So I just got permabanned for what I would consider bad but not bannable behaviour.

To give context, I have just recently come off at 14 day ban because in a norms game I got angry at my team constantly abusing me for having a bad game so I told them to KYS, which I know is a trigger word in league so I should have been aware of this and kept my nerve.

Obviously telling people to KYS is actually a serious thing in case, you know, someone actually does, in which I would have felt gutted but when we get angry and fired up we don't all think logically. I got a 14-day ban for that, which at the time I thought was harsh but in hindsight I definitely deserved it, maybe not a 14-day ban, but I definitely deserved to be punished coz I do get a bit angry at time to time. Mainly only when I get abused first. I generally say nothing, especially in ranked, as I want to win every game 100%.

ANYWAY, to my main point. I just had a game of ranked then, in OCE. Anyway, game started off well, I was playing jungle and helped my team as best I could. During this time, my lux support started verbally abusing the adc draven on my team for what i gather he missed out on what she thought was a free kill? anyway, she abuses him, leaves lane, goes mid and ints. I lose my shit at this point. Lux then starts flaming me for not being bot when the free kills were vacant (even tho I'm all around the map helping out mid and top). She then goes mid again and ints.

After she finally hits lvl 6 at 14 mins into the game, she continuously flames me. Where I finally lose my shit and let her have it, because I know the game is over at this point. a 4v5 with an adc who has no support and a teammate who just wants to piss everyone off. My mid is struggling because of this, but I take it out on them because at this point i've lost hope for this game and I wanted mid to open so we could get this lux out of our game and get onto the next one.

here my my chat logs, yes it's definitely a bit of harsh language in there but nothing that I would consider crossing the line of a PERMABAN, how I wish i would just get like a 50 game chat ban, honestly, it would probably help me climb. I have had this account for 6 years give or take and I was honourable all of last season and only this season i have 2 offences and bam, hit with a PERMABAN for swearing. I'm honestly really pissed off and how the game robots handle permabans. I can understand it if the person if being racist, homophobic, etc. But just using the word fuck, or fkn, or shit, or japseye (which means urethra before anyone loses their shit), or telling people who are intentionally feeding that they're trash or to stfu is not a permabannable offence. Also, I doubt lux will actually cop anything for her behaviour because although she int'ed, she didn't swear a whole lot. The game allows swearing, and I don't swear at teammates who are doing the right thing. Sure i was being an arsehole and I deserve punishment again because I sat in the fountain when their team was shoving our nexus turrets as I wanted the game to be over and didnt want to help this lux or diana who ended up being toxic at the end (i think her and lux were duo but I dunno), but a permaban? is there anyway to challenge this. If not, i'm probs done with this game. I don't want to have to make another acct which in the end, achieves nothing because I'm still on the server right?

Oh I didn't actually run it down mid, you can rewatch the game if you want, I just wanted my teammates to surrender, so I said anything. Context always helps I guess.

Your opinion and Riot's opinion (and apparently the community's opinion) may agree on what is punishable behavior.

There is obvious disagreement between what you consider appropriate degrees of punishment for punishable behavior.

So, it's cool you've stated your opinion.

I imagine that in the end, you'll have to just agree to disagree. I doubt you're gonna change your opinion, and I doubt they're going to change their punishment scales.

Sounds like when you have a disagreement with your boss, wife/girlfriend, parents, in laws, or law enforcement. You can totally state your opinion, but it doesn't always change anything.
