Its too easy to chat restrict someone

So I had a game this morning. My support Sona got caught out in river and raged about no map awareness. After this(I ignored the comment and kept playing the game) I asked her to not push the wave so we could deny the enemy laner cs. She started trolling really hard so I left the lane and went mid to try and pressure other lanes for advantages. This resulted in our mid getting mad at me. Anyhow long story short during the mid/late stages of this game and after the game my jungler and mid where typing in all chat for 9x reports on my account and telling the enemy team I said stuff I did not say. Naturally at the end game stats screen in client I get the negative behavior pop-up and a chat restriction for 10 games.

While I do agree the system should be more aggressive against players who receive multiple reports in one game, it also needs to make sure its passing fair judgement. I never once called anyone on my team bad names and tried to get along with everyone. I did get in a small argument with Sona before I just flat out ignored her to not waste any more of my time or hers so we could focus on the game, but I hardly think that warrants a chat restriction in comparison to the stuff I see real toxic players doing all the time.

The problem is the way the automated system works it detects things like "WTF" "Dumb" and if 9 players report you then you get a restriction.

The best way to play League if you are not duoing bot is just to Queue for Top, Mid, Jungle when the new season starts this prevents you from having to deal with a dumb bot lane who has Zero Experience in what they need to do have had a hard time the last two days with players auto locking and lack of understanding of what to do but when playing other roles less of a toxic experience or problem.

All I have to do to get a player punished who is toxic with the new system is "Tell everyone respectfully I am going to disable / mute chat before I rage myself because everyone keeps disagree."

Play the game go 1-25 before they don't listen which usually starts at champion selection (Mute for the first 5-10 minutes.) Unmute later don't speak watch for toxic comments.

When they start to use abusive Language, suicide comments, and such report them at end game, who do you think is going to get detected and banned by the automated system, sure I do super bad obviously 1-25 for example because of the toxic match up's but next game if its not a toxic match up its a lot better, so I am like whatever.

Easiest way to get people "Wasted" in League is to make them rage without doing anything that will get yourself flagged.

The new season will fix a lot of these issues though because players can actually select what they want to play avoiding the whole bad experience problem, and only DUO in ranked with friends who know what to do for example, someone sees a Mordekaiser bot but has no idea how to play from there and it leads to a very negative experience.

TBH the way I got out of Bronze the last season before this one was doing nothing but Solo Roles and doing a lot better but with the current selection system that doesn't happen.

In that case I sure would love to know how I got chat restricted for offensive language without using a single swear word /hate speech/racial slur/etc

Reports == punishment. Your logs that are scanned determines it

Your logs are pretty minor. Quite a few insults, but nothing too crazy. But severity is only 1 factor. So you are getting punished more for frequency rather than severity. The logs you get are only an example of what you did, not everything that your punishment was for. No matter how often or how bad someone is you only get 1-3 logs so they never speak to the frequency of someones behavior, but it is a significant factor. Punishments are almost never for 1 game, your punishment pretty clearly wasn't.

I feel like some people just don't want to hear the answer to the question, most just want to complain ! We can't answer the question you want us to which is: Is this One instance punishable because we don't have the information that Riot does. Just because the log they gave you leaves some in doubt about if This ONE log is enough...It's not good enough OP...We don't see your past history.

Yes, to answer a earlier question ! I believe people had reason to report you and therefore I believe you deserve a punishment.

And in fact: Good Luck with getting a Red in here, although unlikely I would like to see what in Fact happened so we all don't have to guess. GL OP !

just lose a bunch of arams that you don't pay much mind to (catchup on tv or watch amovie and play league in a very small window) it burns through those. also, immediately mute all 9 of the other players or at some point they will piss you off

I can't tell if some of that Quinn stuff and 'are you bronze' was /all chat. If you did and everyone reported you, I can see it. Unfortunately, there, 9x reports and some negativity WILL get you a small restriction. You weren't terrible with your advice, but after a point, you need to stop badgering people. This could go either way.

All reporting people is, is a weak little power trip for people. This generation of kids coming up today is really really sad. All language hurts them or offends them in some way and all of them are so weak that they have to try to gain some sort of power through reporting someone on the internet with a holier than now attitude. So surprised that something could happen to them OMG he did/said that to ME. You see it on the boards and all around the game. Why is reporting people something so fun for people? Seriously these professional victims play this game just waiting for someone to offend them because their parents dont pay any attention to them so they go searching for any sort of attention they can get even if its negative and get some sort of twisted satisfaction from reporting people. Grow up kiddies its a competitive game people will get angry and maybe even say things you disagree with, it is not your place to try and have them punished or change the world by getting some sort of speech banned. Just mute them and move on and play the game. I swear I see people in game who seriously just play; wait for someone to say something, and then argue with them all game. So stupid.
