I got banned despite me defending support that got flamed?

so i got banned after trying to defend my support who got flamed by the adc...of course it was triggered due to already having a 2 week a month or so ago, would really like feedback. Edit" the first thing saying 9x was a joke as i said the same thing a previous game cus my teammates ban my champ which doesn't bug me that badly. ill reply to any questions around some of the things said because i'm sure the automated system took some of the things i said and interpreted it as if i was the one flaming lol.

The stupid logic promoted by Boards/Riot is essentially this: If you talk in game, for any reason, unrelated to gameplay, you increase your chance of being reported and punished.

Asking people to report toxic players who are obviously trolling/being toxic IS NOT TOXIC.... I vehemently disagree with anyone saying "just mute them and ignore", you CANNOT ignore someone actively sabotaging your game.

Come on people, bring in some common sense... while many people who bring their reports in to forums DID have a justified ban, this is far from it.

Chatting + getting reported results in a ban apparently.

You wont find justice here, only white knights saying you deserve it for calling someone bad, even tho that guy ignited the situation by flaming and intentionally feeding. Just mute everyone, the ban bot is too sensitive and takes nothing into consideration.

My two cents: This ban was definitely justified because you used offense as the best defense. Defending a support should be more like: "Hey man, lay off the support. He's doing fine." Not: "You suck worse than he does you loser!" The first quote does not incite confrontation, the second one just makes things worse.

And for those of you who think it's "Manly" to argue rather than debate or ignore, this is an online game where your words literally do nothing to the other person. Maybe you could puff out your chest and talk big on the streets in your neighborhood, but it's just a waste of time to do it online. Everyone I've "met" online makes 6 figure salaries and owns a private jet. There's just no point.

You should never use the chat to defend your teammates, regardless if they're being harassed. If you want to help your team, you are to tell them to mute the individual that are harassing them. But just because your support was being harassed doesn't mean you are to retaliate against them. Due to the fact that you did so, negatively, you were banned. Never use the chat to defend other players no matter the situation, don't even defend yourself. It is against the code of conduct to be negative, even against a negative player. You are always to mute, report, and move on.

Two wrongs don't make right.

That's because instigating a report on someone is deemed as "harassment" under League's Term of Service.

As a lot of people know the automated bann system don't know what is "context, noob as an insult To your yasuo mate going 0/23 and crying about no gank lvl 2 ffs or to your best friend as a joke is the same thing :"BANNED" so.. Dont type in chat at all, it's the best option. Even if you tried to defend Janna, for this garbage system you are the one in falt. NEVER TYPE IN ALL CHAT Or be like me when you want to flame, be passive agressive and don't use words as trash garbage fuck noob bronze (yes i got banned for calling bronze à bronze 1 player)ect
