Leaver Buster Punishment is too extreme.

Im not banned no, my friend is, but why 20 minutes for 5 games and why not 10 for 10 games? I get it, you wasted other people's time, but that doesn't mean it should hinder you from playing the game, why not just suspend someone for 7 days then? The leaver buster system is to strict. And there is the argument of how people can just plan ahead of time to do this and to do that. What if someone waits the queue but accidentally hits the "X" or something technical like their internet doesn't work. It's not like people leave 10-20 games either, you leave like 3 in a span of 3 months and you get 20 minutes, half the time when you leave it's not even your own fault either. I can confidently bet my life that more people get leaver busters for things out of their control then them actually leaving. I've seen more people feed than disconnect, I've seen more people having internet problems with 1000 ping, and most most common of all, game crashes. Rarely does someone disconnect out of some tantrum, instead they would play the game out while feeding and harassing people verbally. Blah blah blah, wasted someone's time, I'm not against punishing players, but against punishing undeserving players.

If anything, it should be worse than it is.

I left one game last year, because a thunderstorm knocked out the power and internet.

If something about your setup is having troubles more often than that, you should get help in the "Help & Support" forum.

People dodge champ selects when they don't like something. People intentionally leave games a few minutes in after dying 3 or 4 times. Yes, there are cases when things are out of your control. There are also cases where people que and then go to the restroom or to the kitchen or something.

He has left a whole lot more than 3 games in 3 months to get to the highest pujishment tier of leaver buster.

Plus why would it he a punishment if your friend didn't feel it.

If you are a true friend, do him a favour and tell your friend to stop afking and leaving games (rage quitting and returning or clicking around the fountain counts towards leaver buster as well).

AFKing hurts everyone, us having to play 4v5. Him and you as a friend who wants to queue with him but has to wait for the low priority queue to pass.

It should be way worse. This is nothing more than a slap on the wrist for people who can't be responsible for their inactions of not taking care of their systems or actions by leaving games. It does nothing to curb the behavior at all or we wouldn't have the amount of AFK's/DC's that we have.
