My account was hacked and is now permanently banned.

So i joined the army about 3 years ago and had to go over seas for it. After coming back home 3 years later i was ready to play league again and tried to log in. I tried to log in and it said my log in information was incorrect so i sent in a ticket to riot to get my account information back. After getting a response i was told that my account had been permanently banned for the use of scripts or other third part software. Sense where i was stationed there was no internet there was no way for me to play. But riot wont look into it far enough to see that it wasnt my IP address that my account was playing from but someone elses that had stolen my account. Now im told that i will not be able to get my account back so basically im getting punished for someone stealing my account. I spent hundreds of dollars buying all the champions and skins and go over seas for the army to come back to my account never being able to be recovered. I really dont understand why they cant check to see that it wasnt me playing the games. Really losing it. thoughts?

There seems to be a lot of military personnel being hacked or incorrectly banned lately.

ehh its a 50/50 on my end, because if you use the "not my ip" argument, they can just say how do they know it wasnt you playing in a different location.

what they should do, in my opinion with "hacked accounts" is give players a new account (with everything they had on it) with a preset password and logon, and when they are prompted to login, they change the login info, and have a brand new account. they do this with EVERY account banned for hacking or what not, but they could have an undisclosed amount of time that they carefully screen and watch these new accounts for hacking (1week up to even a year) and if any evidence is found on the new account, they ban that account and do not give them a new account

And how are they supposed to know if it was you or someone else playing from that IP?

IPs don't come with name-tags, you know. (Well, actually they do, that's what we call URLs, but you get the point)

And even if it was genuinly cracked (please don't use the word "hacking" in that context): What happens on your account is YOUR responsibility, as per the terms of use, section 1, subsection 4, which you agreed to to log into the game:

And as far as Riot is concerned, that includes things like chosing a weak password, leaving ones system open to malware infection or telling passwords to "friends".

Well same problem here I didn't play for 1 year and when I got back to play a game my acc was perma banned, even my name changed to X4 THIS KALISTA like why would I name my self like that ? I spend alot of money and time on this acc and I can't get it back....They even said they believed that it was not me that used third party programs or whatever it is. I didn't even know something like that existed and I'm thinking about sueing them but it will cost me alot of money and I don't even know if i can win this... Riot has everything to check that it was not me but they aren't even trying to help me, they just don't care. I never shared my account with anyone... What should I do ? Is something like that even legal? Because I lost money and so much time for something I didn't do myself?
