Banning
Okay, so I've been hesitant to write about this because I'm sure most people will be like, "stop being a baby" or "that's league's community hahah"... But this is exactly my issue. So I'll admit that like everyone, I've had my fair share of some toxicity. I was banned a while ago because after flashing away from an ult a kid ? pinged me for 10 minutes straight and I called him a dumbass. Which I gotta admit is kind of a dumb reason to get banned, but hey I'll admit it. I was toxic. But ever since that ban, it's made me realize that being toxic really isn't worth it and I genuinely am stopping that behavior now. When I feel like being toxic I just ignore people and listen to music and turn off chat. But, I also report these people. And it's not reporting ppl for things like them being petty or smartasses or because they dragged the game down. I have legit reasons. I am constantly running into people who are cussing eachother out for no reason, saying all kinds of horrible things, things MUCH worse than what I was banned for, and not once ever have I gotten a "Your report has been acted upon" message. Now I know some of you are going to think, "oh look at him he's upset he's banned waaa waaa." No, that's not my point. I got banned and I deserved it. But why aren't the way worse and higher levels of toxicity getting banned on? Every game I've been in ever since I started this game 2 years ago has had atleast 1 toxic person, except for maybe a handful of games, and I make sure to report them all if they really deserve it, yet nothing happens. I've tried reaching out to these people now to understand why others are so toxic, and from what I see a lot of the reason is people find it okay just because that's the stereotype of the league community, because as I've pointed out, so many of these toxic people practically roam free. I wanna know, where are these other deserving bans at? I see kids using every swear to their knowledge at eachother, people telling eachother to kill themselves, homophobic and/or racist slurs, all those cruel kinds of things and thensome. Can riot crack down on banning more? It's about time this game cut off that toxic side of the community and gave itself a better image. Can riot start cracking down the hammer on these guys some more anytime soon, atleast next season or something? Anything at all?
