Duos have too much power

Recently permabanned. I was honor 3 before the perma without any prior 2 week bans. I got into a game and my jg failed a gank. Naturally there was some flaming from both him and his duo directed at me, and I returned the flame. I'll admit that I was pretty toxic in this game, but going from honor 3 to permaban after ONE GAME seems kinda strange to me. And yes, it is 100% because of that one game; when I open my client, there's only that one game in my toxic chat logs. Idk I think riot should really think about their policy here. I thought the normal case was chat restriction -> two week ban -> permaban, but I guess since a duo reported me, they skipped the 2 week ban.

I can post the chat logs if you want, but I'm not questioning being punished, but how severe it was.

lol that has nothing to do with a duo

You must have had a previous 14 day ban some time ago. THey do not simply permaban. Not even for obscene amounts of racial slurs. Turst me many have tried to see if anything can get you the insta perma.

"But I guess since a duo reported me, they skipped the 2 week ban"

You will probably be disappointed to know that the amount of reports you recieve in one game does not change the outcome of your punishment.

If you post your chat logs, it would help to understand why it was so severe.

Also, duo has no more power than solo player. In fact, it is the opposite. A duo can only have 1 EFFECTIVE report against you. You will have 2 effective reports against them (1 for each). Personally, I think soloq player has far more power than premades.

You're questioning the severity but you're not posting the chatlogs? Also, Riot said that honor has nothing to do with getting banned. Just because you're honor 5 doesn't give you the right to say "kys" in one game. Same goes for everyone else.

If you truly didn't have prior punishments, submit a support ticket. Feel free to copy it and the response over here.

Without the chatlogs, it's hard to know what he did. However...

It's possible it's not just a ban, but a lock on top of a ban. look at his name, guys. That might be considered inappropriate. Note I'm not saying it is, but that it might be.

But if it IS an actual perma, chat logs and/or a Red might let us know.

There are 4 tiers of punishment.

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14-day ban
  4. Permaban

Extreme toxicity can cause you to skip punishment tiers. If you were skipped into permaban without a 14-day ban, it means you either were super super SUPER toxic (like .. alot of hate speech) or you had a 10/25 game chat restriction before this.

2 people reporting you in the same game is no stronger than 1 person reporting you in a single game. Duos do not have too much power because they don't have any more power than any one person.
