I don't get it..

You guys cant see what they were saying but u can see what I was saying and I was not shit talking the enemy team or being toxic at all towards my team how does this even deserve a ban ... My own team was shit talking me raging and flaming how I wasn't ganking when they were pushed to the enemy turret... legit theres no way this deserves a ban rofl..

yea dude amumu came into the game and said fuck you vi fuck you vi over and over then I said back to him "reported enjoy 14 day ban" how is that harassment he was being toxic towards me..

You don't need to tell anyone else in the game that you are reporting them, or ask for anyone else to report. 1 report is just as good as 9 in a single game -- they all flag the game for review.

yea but legit this doesn't deserve a permaban after 1 game 1 report = permaban like legit man if its gonna be like this I might as well just remove every single letter from my keyboard and just play with q/w/e/r 1/2/3/4/5/6

When you are on your last life, any amount of validated toxicity will give you the ax. It shows Riot that if you can't make the effort to reform in the face of a permanent ban, then they don't want you in the playerbase. So they fix that.

May I ask why you said that? Just to be clear, I don't want to know how he provoked you into saying that, I mean what did you try to achieve by saying that. What was your intention? You don't need to answer me, but I'm pretty sure that when you think about it for yourself, you will understand why this is considered retaliation, and therefore toxic behaviour.

No it wouldn't. For one: you're not saying "you're reported" (which is in itself already passive aggressive), but "enjoy 14 day ban". So it'd be more like "hi I'm reporting you to the police, have fun rotting in jail" Secondly, if you want to your analogy to work, you would have to not only increase the authority (Riot -> police) and the aggressors "crime" (toxic behaviour -> something actually illegal), you would obviously also have to increase the severity of what you did.

Say somebody tried to stab you, you report them to the police and you spray "Have fun rotting in Jail!" onto his house. That's a crime as well. Sure, way way milder than what he did... but ultimately you will both face your respective punishments. In this specific case, due to Riot's approach regarding repeated offenses and due to your previous history of negative behaviour, your respective punishment was a permaban.

Anyway, the mere fact that you dodged my question shows me you know that what you said served no other purpose than to attack the guy you reported. That would be called "retaliation" which is toxic and thus punishable in Riot's eyes. In fact, it's one of the very few rules that Riot is explicit about.

There aren't many who actually bring proof. There are loads of players who bring evidence they claim is proof, which is then subsequently proven to be false.

Riot has reversed bans in the past and continues to do so, but only when a mistake has actually been made. The problem isn't that Riot doesn't reverse bans when people have proof they were innocent... the problem is that you have no such proof.
