I got banned for chargback PLEASE READ NO BOT ANSWER!

I am putting this here because i keep getting a bot response on Email since Riot doesn't care enough to actually read and i am pretty sad since i really love playing this game i spend so much personal money on it as well with prepaid cards that i will never get back... :(

I used my dads credit card, we had a falling out and he started trying to get refunds for multiple things like my blizzard account, my steam account and such, it was without my consent, i see the skins i gifted to friends were also removed so i think it's fair to assume everything refunded has been taken back, which should make us even, i didn't realize it was an issue, and i'll take extra steps to make sure nothing like this happens, i love league of legends, it's my favourite game to play, i've had tons of hours and money spend on it, i have a ton of fun playing with my friends and family and i would appreciate it immensly if i could get my account unbanned. I don't see any behavior problem from my part since i didn't act wrong >_< (english not first language prob missunderstood)

There should be an Edit button toward the bottom of your initial post. Just delete it from the ticket summary section.

From the Support article on the subject:

##CAN'T YOU JUST REMOVE THE STUFF THAT WAS BOUGHT AND WE'LL CALL IT EVEN?

Charges on your account have been reported to us by our bank as being unauthorized and we have had to return these funds. Additionally Riot gets fined for each of these unauthorized transactions. You are responsible for the charges made on your account. Removing content from the account will not be sufficient in restoring the account.

The nice thing about chargebacks is that they're one of the easiest bans to get removed - all you need to do is pay back the amount you owe. However, the only way to do that is through Support.

no i cannot since i had 14 days to pay but i was moving away because of the problems with my Dad i had to move a hole different country ):

Obviously not it was overtime money he decided to refund after we stopped talking for months to get back at me i used my own money on League as well

Here's a rundown of the chargeback life cycle:

  1. We receive a chargeback notification. The affected account is placed under temporary suspension.
  • If your account is suspended, you have 14 days to repay the chargeback using the instructions sent to your email. If we receive no payment during this time, we dispute the chargeback with the credit card company.
  • During a dispute, we communicate with the bank and the credit card company to determine what exactly happened to cause the chargeback, and who is responsible for payment. This can take up to 60 days. Accounts remain suspended for the duration of a dispute, and we cannot accept repayment on the account.
  • A dispute has one of two outcomes:
  • The bank determines that money is owed to Riot Games, and that money is deposited back to our account. In this situation, we lift the suspension.
  • The bank determines that money is not owed to Riot. In this case, the money for a transaction stays in a player's bank account, but the content purchased with the money is still on the player's account, and so the account remains frozen until the player manually repays the balance.

If your grace period is up, you're currently on Step 3 of the cycle. At the moment, this means biding your time - and keeping in mind that there's nothing Riot can do to speed up the process, since it's the bank that's investigating.

Step 4, however, should be of particular interest to you.

No problem! I know it's a pretty significant wait, but once the dispute's cleared up, the worst thing that'll happen is that you'll need to pay back the difference, which Support will then be able to help you with. There's also some information about how that works in the same article I linked.

literally all you have to do is go to 7-11 and buy a league of legends gift card. It's tax free and it wont make you look so desperate

You do realize the reason he's able to post on the NA boards is because Riot uses the NA boards for general feedback and support, opening it up to all regions, right? Your argument that he shouldn't use the NA boards is essentially the same as saying Riot shouldn't be able to manage their servers and communication as they please.

Yeah i am not sure how to use this boards thing i just clicked the link where riot told me to make the board thanks for being patient and helping!
