Increased loss of LP for leavers Reduced loss for stayers

Hey, was just wondering if Riot would ever implement a system in which leavers in ranked games would lose around twice the amount of LP they were going to lose and people who remained in the game had a reduced LP loss?

I understand there is the leaver buster system, but the stakes really aren't high enough until you leave like x amount of times and even then you can wait a while and leaver buster forgets, right?

Tell me what you think.

Thanks for reading.

i think a better solution. if you leave in ranked. you're automatically given a 24 hour ranked ban. in addition to LPQ

Well... if Riot implemented a system in which leavers in ranked games lose twice the amount of LP and people that stayed had a reduced LP loss system. It could lead to a duo with smurfs that can leave if the game is "a loss", then have the partner lose less LP which wouldn't be fair to the system. On the flip side, if a person legitimately had a "blackout" or T-mobile decided to cut their net for 10 minutes, they would double the LP points and requires 2 wins in a row to reach the point they were at before the game started. This massive loss streak can lead to tilt and negative behavior as they think it can be unjustified. From my personal experience (which isn't much but I've played since S1 on NA server then to OCE server than now back to NA server again), there aren't that many leavers (let alone rage-quitters) to warrant a response like this yet. Trolls and Toxicity abounds but not many just leave. Some may just sit at base dancing.

In addition to possible abuse by duos, this scenario could easily lead to harassment from players in game who are trying to get a teammate to quit a game they feel is a lost cause.

As the users have stated above it would be abused and promote even more toxicity which this game definitely does not need.
