No information given on why I received a permanent suspension. Why?

Today I logged in to my League account, queued up and played a game all the way through. Upon exiting the game I received a notification telling me that my account had been permanently suspended, and that I should log back in to receive more information on why my account had been permanently suspended. I attempt to log back in and instead of giving me information, it told me to check the e-mail linked to my account for additional details. I check my e-mail and find no such e-mail regarding my suspension, my last e-mail received from League of Legends was a Riot Points purchase receipt. This ban seems odd and abrupt, seeing as I first see the message after I completed a game today, my last one being almost a full day ago. In my previous experiences Riot has been rather transparent, but it seems they have gone opaque.

I am guessing since you recently bought rp it is probably a charge back. Contact player support and if that is the case you just have to pay and all is good.

Edit: Are you sure it is a receipt and not a notification that it didn't go through?

This sometimes happens if an account is compromised. You should submit a support ticket to find out if they think your account was stolen.

If that is the case, and you can verify with them and prove that you are in fact you, then they will lift the suspension and you will have your account back.
