Perma bans for behavior

There should be no perma bans ever for something you have put money into. Take away chat privileges and ranked play. Only leave open blind and arram, let them stew and hopefully they will calm down and earn their privileges back but never perma ban. Make a game where people can be as toxic as they want some people need to take it out somewhere stop catering to snowflakes whos feelings do not matter. When your climbing silver and get 2 games 10 mins in with afks and the team doesnt remake you suffer because there is nothing you can do, and hamstringing people to adhere to a behavior policy when they are crapped on due to something they cant control is just as wrong as being toxic.

People who can't control their temper or their need to abuse other players should find better things to do with their time. For example: Anger therapy. But they absolutely SHOULD be permabanned.

It's very simple. To play the game, you have to accept an agreement that says (in part, and paraphrased for simplicity) "I will not flame, harass, or otherwise be a douche to other players. If I do these things, Riot has the right to suspend or terminate my account". If they break that agreement, they get punished. If they do it frequently enough, their account is terminated. Whether they paid money or not is irrelevant. They broke the agreement, they accept the punishment they agreed to. It never ceases to amaze me how many people argue and complain about getting exactly what they agreed to receive for doing what they did.

In my view, it's the flamers who get repeatedly banned and then cry about it that are the real "snowflakes." They think that they should be allowed to be a douche to anyone they want, say and do whatever they like, and suffer no consequences for it. Sounds a lot like they think they are "special and unique", doesn't it?

Common misconception - it's not about feelings, it's about rules. The rules say not to flame, you flame, you get punished. You continually ignore the rules, you get banned.

If you can't play by the rules, you can't play at all.

It doesn't matter if you put $2 or $2000 into the game. You're gonna be banned the same way for being an asshole as the next person would. There's no place for toxicity.

You're welcome to try to be an asshole to people in real life. Let's see how far that gets you.

They won't. They will ruin games for people who enjoy blind pick and aram.

By all means, you can do it. But Riot won't because, like most of the world, they have expectations that people treat each other with some semblance of respect.

Thankfully Riot has an automated leaverbuster system that will punish those players.

No, the afks are punished for violating rules just like you are. Sure it sucks when it happens but believe it or not, raging at your remaining 3 teammates won't improve the life of anyone in that game or bring the afk back. The odds that you get an afk on your team is actually lower than playing against one. So just play out the game, maybe ask your team if they want to open mid (only do so if everyone agrees).

Yep, Riot agree's with that sentiment. That's why they don't care about the feelings of snowflakes who think they are entitled to be as crass, obscene, obnoxious, rude, etc. to others with zero consequences.
