SOMONE HACKED MY ACCOUNT AND GOT IT BANNED

PLEASE HELP RIOT

I haven't played on my account since November 24, 2016 and I recently got an e-mail stating my account has been permanently banned for "extremely toxic behavior". I need some help from a Riot employee ASAP. I am freaking out, I spent so much money on my account on skins and characters. I checked my match history on na.op.gg and there have been like 30+ games played since Nov 24.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I'M FREAKING OUT I WAS NOT TOXIC, I DID NOT PLAY ANY OF THESE GAMES, SOMEONE HAD ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT. HOW DO I FIX THIS? I've changed my password since then but I'm seriously freaking out someone please help me!

First, chillax. Once an account is suspected of being stolen it is automatically locked to prevent further damage. It's normal procedure.

Next, make sure that the e-mail you have attached to your account wasn't changed by scrolling up, hovering over your name and opening the "settings" part of the drop-down menu. This way you can make sure the ticket you send will be sent to the right person.

Then, you will need to send a ticket in to player support explaining what happened so that they can help you sort this out. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us It usually takes about 2 business days so wait for their response. Sending another ticket will just put you to the end of the line again; we don't want that. :)

It wasn't stolen, someone knew my password and got into it (pass was the same, until I changed it 10 minutes ago). Also my e-mail has not been changed either.

I have sent out a support ticket but what do you think the chances are that Riot will actually help me out in a situation like this? I'm freaking out so bad I have no idea what to do, I've heard support tickets take up to 2 weeks to go through.

They still categorize that as "stolen."

The only time I've seen an account ticket go to two weeks is if the person either keeps making tickets and jumping to the back of the line continuously, or if they just don't respond to riot's response ticket when they get it, thinking unicorns will magically give back the account just by sending the ticket.

What's going to happen is that they'll get your ticket and then ask you to confirm that the account is yours through some questions only you should know. They want to make sure they aren't handing over the account to the person who went on the account. Once they confirm it's you there's usually no problems.

So you're saying usually when things of the sort occur, the account is unbanned once I prove the account is mine through questions? Or whatever other means Riot deems neccessary?

In all likelihood, what do you think are the chances (based on past events), that I will be able to recover my accont through this support ticket system? Well, get my account unbanned I mean.

What I'm saying is that stuff like this happens, and you're not the only one who has been in that situation (especially around the holidays since there's lots of scams going around).

If what you wrote is what happened (they can check that stuff), and you can prove that the account is yours, then I see no reason why it won't work out.^^

the bans lifted this way are security bans. this one is a ban due to toxicity. because he only saw it after getting the toxicity ban its close to impossible to prove and get unbanned.

No, if the OP can prove the account was compromised and that's what caused the toxicity ban then they won't hold it against him.

Not once, I have never given my password or permission to anyone under any circumstances. With the amount of money I've spent on this account, I have been very protective of my password at all times.

Submit a ticket to support and explain what happened. They should be able to verify that the account had been compromised. They have lifted bans from accounts in the past when this happens.

UPDATE: I called my brother to ask if he had been on my LoL account recently, and he admit that he has indeed been playing on my account. I DID NOT GIVE HIM PERMISSION TO GO ON MY ACCOUNT, OR MY PASSWORD. He figured out my password because I have the same one for everything, and abused that to log on to my account to play games of League, because his account was banned. I DID NOT APPROVE HIM PLAYING ON MY ACCOUNT, LET ALONE EVEN LOGGING ON TO THE CLIENT. HE DID ALL THIS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND GOT MY ACCOUNT BANNED IN THE PROCESS.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that I get banned for something someone else did, without my knowledge! I have included this information on a support ticket, what do you think are the chances that Riot will help me sort this through?
