I'd check with support through a ticket. I've heard of cases where they remove/reduce a ban if all you were doing was just repeating a zero tolerance word that someone else said.

But next time, just report them. Don't go around repeating something that you know was against the behavioral rules.

This is a case of the zero tolerance policy on the phrase "kys" getting you in trouble. I'd definitely file a ticket with Player Support, although I'm a little puzzled at why you'd repeat that if you know that phrase earns a ban, so there's a chance they might pick up on that and not be especially merciful. Only way to find out is to try.

This, you used the term "kys" which triggers the broken zero tolerance system which doesnt take any context into account, imo this ban should be removed so file a support ticket (and honor restored for that matter)

I don't understand why you got downvoted, the machine that bans you only sees words, never context. He pointed out why another account got banned, and got banned again, seems like the Machine is just retarded. Riot knows the system is broken, they simply don't give enough shits about the player base to fix it. We still play the game, still spend money, still make new accounts, all while getting fucked in the ass time and time again by a system somebody downloaded into the game and said, "Okay you little Tyrant you, go fuck with as many people having a bad game/day as you can".

I think he got downvoted (And then upvoted I guess? Lol) because he's asking a question that he knows the answer to already. If he got banned for it, why would you ask players if that's a reason to get banned? He already got banned for it. He knows the answer already.

You shouldn't be afraid to use chat at all, unless you routinely insult or belittle people. There are only a handful of zero-tolerance phrases, and most of them are hate speech. This is one of the few zero-tolerance words that is not hate speech.

If your communication skills are so utterly lacking that you don't know how to talk without being punished, then maybe. It's really not hard to talk to your team politely. I've been playing for about 5 years now and to my knowledge I've been reported once.

I'm a level 4 honor player who regularly receives honors for cheering his team up and turning lost games into won by boosting morale. I'm just pointing out a fact. If I as much as am talking with someone on pm and I accidentally type something bad in the chat beacuse I failed /r , BAM. Banned.

Imagine 2 people are going to court because one threatened to kill the other's family. Guy 2 says "Judge, Guy 1 told me "I'll kill your family" ". Judge: HAH YOU THREATENED TO KILL HIS FAMILY, YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL GUY 2. FILE FOR AN APPEAL IF YOU BELIEVE THE PUNISHMENT WAS UNJUST.

This is exactly how ridiculous this situation is.
