LOOOOOOL Riot games becoming even more of a joke that they ever been... I just got banned from my smurf account (silver2) Main plat2. For what? Cus i had mid with a smite and jng items.. And on the same team i had a camille support that just fed everyone so i got little mad as 90% of the normal players who cares about their winnings will be. Anyway i will ban this game from my games list and switch over to Dota2 like what many of the big streamers did. GL with this kids game RIOT its really becoming a joke and when players getting lil older they are leaving this game cus too many kids trolling and you cannot control it... Like for real what am i suppose to do with a mid with smite that buys jng items and camille support that just dying all game? Keep playing and say "wow this is fun"? Or am i suppose to be able to pick up my team by myself and if i see on champ select that i have a camille suport i can choose if i want to play with him or not without getting a 5-20 min wait cus i "dodged" a game.... making $900Mil a year but still 0 brain.

You did not get banned for going mid with smite. You got banned for how you reacted to your team when they accused you of being an intentional feeder.

If you had bothered to look at the account (or even hover your mouse over it), you would see i am gold ranked.

I am not going to waste my time playing ranked this season until it passes midseason, waiting for all the brats to drain off to bronze V or get banned so i dont need to deal with their behavior as often.

Actually, I wasn't going to call it photoshopped. I"m more confused on why you even posted it at all. I don't find it to be impressive, nor do I care. I'm not even sure what you think I'm supposed to get out of it. Also, I"m not permabanned. I've never been banned. Had a chat restriction one time like 3 and a half years ago if you want to count that I guess. The only reason I believe you are bringing that stuff up though is because I don't think you can counterpoint wiht an actual point so you're trying to play a wild card. I"m just not impressed by it man. You could be Master tier for all I care, and still be bronze ranked as a human being. It kind of humors me that you threw your rank into it though. To answer your last paragraph, I actually don't care at all. I'm mostly just killing time out of boredom. Of course rank has nothing to do with player behavior, that's why I don't understand why you're bringing rank into it. I never mentioned it once. You're kinda just making this stuff up as you go aren't you? XD

Also, this is extra funny to me because I thought it was the OP I was responding to. I stand by what I say though, your attitude needs work.

That's why I'm straight up saying these things to you rather than implying them XD XD Everyone is forgettable when attached to a screen name on a forum. We are all nobodies here to each other. honestly, I don't know. I can tell you what you don't do though: You don't throw a temper tantrum. You don't act immature. You don't vent towards people you don't know and intentionally ruin the game for the rest of the players involved. If you can't control yourself under unfun or stressful situations, you should log off from any online game bud

Yeah it's only really fun for me with friends these days. Playing solo, I imagine is just an exhausting process. Me and a couple buddies get online on the weekends and drink beer and trash eachother over twitch chat while playing stupid gimmick teams on twisted treeline. It's fucking hilarious. (Voli singed Urgot flip squad undefeated baby!)

However, I've never received a punishment even when playing off meta shit cuz I just don't care enough to trash strangers over their video game skills. Maybe if you would chill out and stop taking a game so serious, you wouldn't be banned. Becausw everyone knows your ban had nothing to do with your off meta pick. It was the insulting and berating of your team that got you where you are. I hope you had fun trashing them at least. But you know you made no difference to them. No one takes you seriously so I don't know the point of shit talking anonymous screen names.

You are the exact reason i made this post. Becuse of players like you this game is becoming trash. If you do not care about this video game its ok other playing to get better and win but if i get someone on my team like you there is no way i can win this match even if i invented this game. The point is that its ok if you want to just have fun and just drink a beer with friends while playing, nothing wrong with that BUT dont come and play rank games so you wont make anyone lose points he worked really hard to earn. And for sure you never got any punish and again this is the exact reason i made this post BECAUSE you are the one who should get punish for trolling rank games with friends making fun of others while drinking beers while others really trying to win so they get mad and they get the punish but you keep playing and trolling games.

Well all I have to say to that is hah hah you're upset and I'm having fun with the game. Yeah, go to dota2 man. No one trolls there I'm sure. Btw, I'm a try Hard in game. I can't just NOT try to win a game. You don't know me. I don't know how people can say "meh I'm not trying"... it just doesn't sound fun to me. I always try my best. How can someone not? You're there, you're playing, how are you not "trying"? They just shut part of their brain off? I don't get people like that. Also, if I go to ranked, I play strictly anivia mid because I want to win games. But like your whole point, playing the game seriously is just not fun anymore, so I tend to stick to normals and twisted treeline with friends. You will never see me troll on your team, unless maaaybe it's an unranked. And even then, my "trolling" is merely me try Harding on an off meta pick.

Thanks for making this thread for me though. It reinforces the idea that I'm doing it right, because you sound miserable.

Don't encourage them. Players are each responsible for their own behavior. Trolls need to be punished, but it's just as unpleasant to play with a flamer on your team as it is to have a troll on the team that the flamer is aiming their rage at.

I feel for you, losing an account and/or access to a game you enjoyed is a terrible thing to go through, but ultimately it is your own words that got you punished, not other people. If you would like help identifying why you could have been banned then feel free to share your chat logs from the reform card that popped up in your game-client.

Acting superior and calling them a 'joke' is not a very good way to get them to listen to you. If you want the system to be changed then you had best present your reasoning in a respectable manner.

Are you aware of the effects of flaming teammates? If a teammate is a troll or if they are feeling spiteful, then antagonizing them will only spur them to act worse. And if they are simply having a bad game then antagonizing them will only distract them and make them play worse. If you care about winning matches then you should not be tilting your teammates with your chat.

Repeatedly calling people feeders is not something I can side with. Sorry amigo.

I mean League of Legends remains one of the MOST competitive in E-Sports. Sneaky is still on Cloud 9 performing competitively, and through many interviews has said that he enjoys the game.

'Rito' is a meme that many players and streamers use and enjoy. That being said, I'm willing to bet that most if not all of us appreciate Riot and League of Legends. I for one really enjoy League of Legends and will continue to do so for years.

You know the funny thing is league's tribunal system is flawed. I tested this with my friends. I played a game with 4 of my friends in the same queue and I told them to report me after the game. Furthermore, one of my friends asked the enemy team to report me after the game as well for toxicity and well, since we dominated the game, 3 of them agreed to do so. Most importantly, I made sure I didn't say a single word in game just to see the effect that this trial would have on me. Turns out, after the following game I played, I got the message saying I've been chat restricted for 9 games due to bad behavior. It's not about whether you were toxic or not.

So basically the system comes down to this:

If you are toxic but only 1 person reports you, you will be pretty much safe from any punishment resulting from that game. If you are not toxic but 4+ players report you, you're almost guaranteed a punishment even if those are all false reports.

It was an interesting experiment and I'm just glad it was a chat restriction not a full fledged account ban.

What I learned from this experiment is to not say anything in game but to also not stomp the other team so hard in order to avoid any frustration reports.

First things first: Tribunal doesn't exist anymore. The Instant Feedback System is what hands out punishments now.

Second off, it only takes one report to flag a game for review, so unless you're displaying punishable behavior the game will be thrown out if nothing of guilt is found regardless of how many people report you. From Riot Tantram (aka the guy who wrote the entire system):

4+ reports is the same as 1.

A report, or 9 reports, flag a game for review.

Since you got a chat restriction I can only assume that you've been validly reported for poor behavior in multiple games (which is what actually caused your punishment) and are using this one outlier game as an excuse to try to discredit how the IFS works. If I'm wrong then make your own thread and post your entire unedited chat logs in it rather than posting in a 4 month old thread with a bold claim like this.
