I honestly feel bad for bronze level players.

Played a game of flex. Got matched with a trio of bronze players (in my placements never played flex) I literally said nothing in chat, we were winning, it was about 20-5 and we had them pushed to inhib towers. Got mid inhib. and went downhill. I say "we need braron and group mid to win" the trio wouldnt help get baron. Me (Maokai) and our top Poppy had to get baron alone. They told me to "kys" and "does it look like i care if we win". I literally had to get every objective by myself with the help of poppy occasionally. They refused to group and refused to help. If you ask me this should result in an instant perma ban or at least a 2 week suspension. This behaviour is the reason new players drop this game quite quickly and should have zero tolerance.

80% of my games are like this, it's the norm in bronze sadly

That makes sense if you placed silver 1 if you've never encountered this scenario. The elo barrier is at about silver 3. obviously its a little less frequent in silver 5 4 and 3. but what was described is 90% percent of bronze games throughout any division at any time. you either get a lucky match or you don't and it usually decides where or not you streak up or down. I've had account in gold shortly after starting and then later in silver as well and
didn't experience this. I am able to play well enough mechanically and understand the game well enough that I streaked on a bronze account from b5 to b1. I've literally fallen back to mid bronze with straight losses because your skill level and understanding makes little to no impact in the games here. you either get people who want to win and cooperate or you don't. This likely goes without saying that the overwhelming majority of those games you will get matched with those that don't.

I don't even bother trying ranked cause of stuff like this. I can't even play normal without getting flamed by over half my team cause im getting smashed by some gold I can't handle. I play games to have fun not to get harassed by my team while I'm trying to learn how to play properly. I'll just stick to my bot games whenever I have the urge to play cause I only ever make it through a single game of pvp before I just don't feel like playing anymore. Though I'll never truly learn how to play the game correctly like that.

"kys" is punishment-worthy, but poor objective control is simply bad play. It's "punished" by them being Bronze.

This is also an example of Riot needing bad play to be reportable purely to lock players out of ranked. I am not perfect by any stretch, but when an Ashe adc barely breaks 100cs in a 40minute match, and jungler legit asks "how do I play Shaco" at start, it puts me in the most toxically cancerous rage. When the two solo lanes win but team loses to Yi and Jinx getting an all-you-can-eat buffet from 3 of 5 players, the "keep at it" or "get good" comments from players in higher elos (who can at least count on teammates knowing basics) doesn't help.
