Turret's syndrome.

I turned to this game finding it very nice to play and worth my time. I have very little occasions to go out or do something else. and this derives mostly from my condition, that being turret's syndrome. This brought my accounts to be banned in several occasions and it's stressing since most of the times i cant help myself and even though usually some of the "flames" are not game related and are usually silly some players report me anyways.

I herefore ask to get a feature where i can disable my own chat and be impossibilitated to write. I still need the pings and the infos. I simply ask to not be able to write whatever I feel the need to write in that moment.

  1. I think you mean Tourette syndom?
  2. This is probably the very first time I hear (or read) about tics that make you write toxic stuff in chat. People with Tourette's have tics to "release their inner tension", it's impulsive act. Writing stuff needs you to think about it and it doesn't really sound like Tourette's.

I honestly think you are using name of disorder you heard about to reach your goal and that's not very nice.

Toxicity in chat is not a symptom of TOURETTE's (at least spell the thing you're pretending to have correctly)

There is also something called "Reasonable accommodation".

Adding colorblind mode is reasonable. It basically a skin for names/alerts/etc. And some non-colorblind players prefer it, too.

Accommodating disabilities that put people at risk or allow them to break rules is not reasonable.

Riot doesn't accommodate people with mental illness in any way even though mental illness in various forms is a disability.

Riot only parodies mentally ill people via champions like Kled or Jinx, they don't actually have any empathy towards them. No different from the fact that they'll ban people for having other mental illnesses like anxiety, depression, ptsd, bipolar disorder, etc.

There's a colorblind mode, but there's nothing for the mentally ill. There is no accomodation that's made for mentally ill people. Riot claims they understand that real life happens and on account of that you won't get banned for leaving a single game. Yet your actions in a single game, based on mental illness, can be enough to get someone banned.

It also doesn't help that mental illness in general are misrepresented in media. Mentally ill people are often portrayed as criminal or violent.
