I posted this originally on bugs because I actually thought it had to be, but apparently I was wrong as I was quickly notified. I know, as sure as water is wet, this won't change my situation even if I wrote a masterpiece of literature to explain my situation, but it's more to see if I'm alone in thinking this.

I left one game last week for 1 minute (because of a sudden crash of the client, imediately recconected to the game) and when I came back my team was surrendering, getting me a warning. I hadn't played in some months so I didn't really care much but it seemed weird to get warned and lose 15 LP because my team couldnt even wait for the minions to spawn.

In the meantime I played some more, got to promos in about 5 more games, said hello to my team in last game of promos, all nice and good, and the client crashes again. I reconect, the game was at little over 2 minutes, the minions had barely reached the lane and my team surrendered, against which I couldnt do anything apparently. So I "lost" that game, got placed in some 10 minute wait thing for i dont know how many games and good-bye promos...

I know people that play this game """usually""" aren't sympathetic toward this kind of situation because everyone seems to play in a NASA computer with internet directly from the Pentagon or something when it's convenient... but I kind of hope this was a mistake that happened here or that someone else feels like this isn't too fair...

Again, I don't care THAT much, I just recently got back to playing and don't have too much problem simply uninstalling again, although I played this for a loooong time, since season 2 I think, and feel sad if this is really not a mistake in the leaverbuster whatevers, and that people who might have the bad luck of getting client crashed for 2 minutes have to receive penalties because their team decides it.... I'm guessing, obviously, that my team doesn't lose anything at all, otherwise I'm sure this wouldn't have happened.

Anyway keep up the good work, i guess, whoever designs that supremely intelligent method of punishment.

You actually have to be gone for at least 90 seconds to trigger a remake vote, but that's beside the point. They don't know if you're going to come back, and they only get one shot at remaking the game so they don't have to deal with a 4v5 for the rest of the match and still lose; typically, accepting the remake is by far the best choice for their LP and sanity. Even when you do come back, coming in late is an unfair disadvantage they shouldn't have to deal with.

If you are experiencing frequent connection or crash issues, please post on Help & Support and they will do what they can to assist you so that this doesn't happen again.
