I am extremely disappointed in LoL customer service

so a few days ago i go to my account and i see player banned and i'm level 13-14 and i just wondered what i did, it said i was scripting or "using third party programs" so i was shocked i just got banned for something i didn't even do. if you look back at my games which riot can do (and i sent the customer representative a copy of my recent game i was going to show my LoL coach who gets videos of my games and tells me what i did wrong because i'm really bad and i just need help) you could see that i'm not scripting i'm actually playing quite badly getting hit with every swain ability because i still don't know what he really does, but i digress i contacted one of the riot employees to clear this up explaining my situation sending screenshots sending my recent match and i get an automated message:

didn't even look at the evidence, now i'm a mother i have two teenage boys i like to hop on their desktop and play alot of league (sometimes they yell at me for being on their computer and not getting the housework done haha) and i also work for a fashion design company and if one of our clients came up to us and said they didn't like the line of clothing or a certain design we had created for them and gave us a valid reason on why under NO circumstances would i say "sorry i looked into your claims twice and they are invalid we did make the right clothing to represent your line/company so we are not changing it" i would get fired in a heartbeat i know games are sorta different but you got to tell the customer why you did what you did what evidence is against them not i know i'm right so shut up, i am upset by the way this situation was handled, i presented evidence it was ignored and i was sent an automated message...league you got to step up your customer service game you cant keep treating your customers like this.

does that look like someone who is manipulating their game i don't even know how scripts work i still have a little trouble downloading things online my son would be horribly mad if i gave his $2k gaming computer a virus. scripts are suppose to make you go 20/0 and i keep getting killed and going 1/6 and i played horribly against that swain last game i played.

i'm just saying this is not how you handle your customers i didn't even get a counter argument just a no.

Riot bans in waves. This means you could have been detected months ago and RIot just now decided it was time to punish you. This is so script makers and other 3rd party software developers can't effectively diagnose how they got detected.

So a single video of a recent game is not even close to being evidence.

First of all the system has a track record of being near perfect in detecting these things. Second of all, why do you assume they didn't recheck the evidence?

Maybe one of your boys had installed something. The popular scripting programs don't even need to be running to be detected anymore, just having them installed is grounds for suspension.

That's the worst metaphor I have ever heard. Your job revolves around subjective opinions. Whether you used 3rd party programs or not is not an opinion.

I won't shut up. You posted on a discussion board, and I'm here for discussion. They absolutely under NO circumstances should give you any evidence they have. It would just serve to compromise their future investigations.

You presented no evidence. A video isn't evidence. If you had a video of all games you ever played then sure, that would be evidence. But a single video is not evidence.

I think the support rep handled it nicely. Just because you got told 'no' doesn't mean it's bad support.

I don't mean to judge or be offensive in any way, but let me just get this straight:

Your a mom of 2 teenagers, one of whom has a 2k gaming computer (so I assume one of them atleast is around 15-16 of age), you are level 13-14 and you for some reason have a LoL coach, you don't know what scripts do, but know what they're supposed to do?

You have to agree that this story sounds abit sketchy, but nevertheless I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it's true.

But, there is a small hope.

Once there was a bug that made some innocent software trigger the system. Riot fixed the system and undid all bans caused by the bug.

If this is what happened to you I expect to see atleast a 100+ posts about people having gotten wrongly banned, as that's what happened last time. I also expect you to get unbanned.

That said, as it stands we have no incentive to believe you and even if we did, we wouldn't be able to help you sorry :/

But you also have games that you got 10/0/0 as ashe with 9.8 cs/min in a 24 min game. That rate of cs is equivalent to the 4th best ADC in the NALCS. Your current games are roughly 1/4 of that rate (more on par with a player learning). You either had someone else playing on your account or you were scripting.

they don't tell you the details involving scripts because they think that if you ARE using scripts, the information about how you got detected will be used to make your script less detectable. so that's why

as far as my undertsanding goes, they don't issue these bans unless they are sure that something is up

you mentioned you use your son's computers. maybe they have scripts or something that might look like a script to riot and that's what hapened...

"using third party programs" doesn't reffer only to scripts but to other programs that people might use.

you are comparing problems with clothes with problems with an account

you are welcome to compare clothes with champion skins but don't jump the fence like that...

Yeah sorry man. But SCRIPTS users are banned in waves i have already seen 3 so far. and these banns go back months before you even get the ban

I'm guessing one of them downloaded scripts.

You mentioned that you're using your sons' computer, there is a chance that it may be the whatever that's in your son's computer that's for some reason interacting with League's client for unknown reasons which is then picked up by the system and assumed to be a script; because the League clients can not see how it is attacked, it can only see whether there is something trying to alter its files without official acknowledgement, and anything that tries to override the League's crucial files and data are all assumed to be offence of this category.

I am not sure if the computer is infected and the virus attempts to do things to League files would be interpreted by the system as hacking, but I can only guess that it probably counts as such.

Lastly, this is not to accuse that your son is a cheater, but if they do use scripts on their computer to cheat on whatever game, and it's open in the background or something, it may still be interacting with the game even if you're not actively using it; which may result in the detection and ban.

Wow your kids complain to you about YOU NOT DOING HOUSEWORK??? Put those kids to work!! Wtf!!!!! Please, please don't let them talk to you like that. We have enough entitled, spoiled brats in the world. Make them do the housework. It's your duty as a parent.

As to your actual point, yes your match history does look like that of a scripter, or someone sharing an account/getting boosted, at the very least.

They aren't gonna describe to you how they detected your third party programs, because that gives cheaters some insight into how their programs get detected, obviously. Then they can make adjustments to their programs and avoid detection, until Riot then improves/modifies their detection systems. So yeah, that's just how it is in this business I guess. Things have to be shrouded in secrecy, unlike your business where they're shrouded in totally fab clothes ;)

I'm sorry to hear they banned you. My situation is about the same and I feel like they really ripped me off.

From what other users here have said, their system basically just bans poorly performing players on the grounds that they're too similar to bots, and the staff doesn't care when they're wrong.

Maybe it's for the best, though. It sounds like the game was taking up a lot of your time, so maybe it'll be good to be free of it?

I guess let me ask a simple question -- How did you go from building correctly and getting scores that were 25/1, 20/3, 10/0 etc... To building completely incorrectly, switching your summoners and going 1/7, 3/10, 0/6?
