Riot have just perma banned me for no reason

Ive just been permanently banned from League by riot for being 'unsportsmanlike' my past 30 games have been nothing but me encouraging my team to win (previous 14 day ban which is why ive been really careful in chat) which has allowed me to win games quite easily. The game chat log they have gave me, i have not said 1 offensive word or verbally abused/whatever to a single person. I simply say that people need to report the mid laner as she went afk, and if everyone reports her she will get banned, simple logic and you would assume that would be the case. However in champion select for the second time in the past month i see 'banned' on my screen. This time permanent, 1. why do it in champ select so i lose LP??? (almost intentional by them) 2. banned for no reason gj riot. I hope people come to realise that they abuse power or it is simply an algorythm that bans people for typing alot in the chat even if its not offensive in any way. £250+ many hours invested onto my account. If i dont get unbanned and reset with these scaling ban things im pretty much never coming back to this game and will be encouraging others to also completely avoid it at all costs.

You harassed your team. AFK's are automatically reported and there's no reason to ask for bans, asking for bans is considered harassment. Whether this is actually why you got banned or if there's another reason can only be answered by Riot, but that's my best guess, although in addition you also called people useless and got mad and said "reported"for what was apparently just them not doing well, and were honestly just very rude this game. A bad kda!=feeding it could just mean a bad game.

Also, multiple reports in a single game don't guarantee punishment as the report system is a Boolean system;

if playerReported = yes (...) else (...)

And while it does store the number of reports that number has no use in the automated system and is instead used in manual review by actual people.

i harassed my team? erm how. Also i didnt ask for bans, i said this person gets banned 100% if we report them which is what they deserve for going afk. Also the point of your kda statement doesnt actually make sense as kha'zix had a good kda, but refused to help the team because of his kda... which was my point. Not rude at all, simply stated the exact events of what was going on during this game. How can you say 'apparently them not doing well' She was afk, and the game proves that. its rewatchable, her chat logs would also say that she's intentionally losing the game as thats what she said.

On a side note, the whole enemy team agreed during the game to report them as it was INTENTIONAL.

Ok maybe they trolled maybe they played bad bad tbh in my personal opinion your chat log looks to me like you abused people so bad... Spamming report in chat wont make them play better they will play even worse because they are under pressure and they are maybe trying to be nicer... Look next time try to be nice and you will notice changes

you can literally see the whole chat log, please point out to me where there is any abuse there? In all seriousness if thats your view and people agree with that then they need to man up and play a different game. She was AFK, ruined the game for the whole team, ban her, not me.

missing the point, spent money on this game and banned for 'negative attitude' essentially. If that was the case everyone who plays this game would be permanently banned. They can't just permanently ban me for no reason.

spending money on this game does not give you a free pass to be toxic. riot judges all players the same regardless if they spent 10$ or 3k $ (there have been posts like that)

'harassment' i dont think any of you know what harassment means. Stating a person needs to be banned for being afk is not harassment. Unanimously 9 players talking about the situation is not harassment, i wasnt the only one stating the events happening in the game. I only got banned because riot is extremely poor, orianna should've got banned end of.

How is this encouraging your team to win? You complaining all game long about the ori is your definition of "encouraging" your team? I call it annoying your team most likely caused them to mute you or obviously reported you.

Yes, they can see that the ori is afk, all 8 of the players in that game can see that. You whining about it all game long and report begging just added onto what is already a bad game for them. This is the definition of unsportmanlike.

This is false. First of all, afk is handled by the LeaveBuster system, not the IFS. Whether you or anyone report her or not does not matter because LeaveBuster is automatic. Secondly, having more than 1 report does not get you punished any faster or harder than the first report. Thirdly, LeaveBuster does not give time ban at all for afk. Worst she will get is 20 minutes Low Priority Queue, so I wouldn't hold any hope she will be time banned, report or no report.

My whole team agreed with me and also said to report her, and then they clearly need to up the bans for people going afk? how cant you see that ive been banned for no reason here. I literally ask her at one point in the game to play, its still winnable. She refuses. Yet im the one who gets banned? PERMANENT

You would not have been banned if no one reported you. While your team may agreed what the ori did was wrong, SOMEONE also think what you did was unsportmanlike hence why he/they reported you also.

If you go back and re-read your chat log, more than 90% of it is targeted at the ori and calling for report or complaining about the ori. Believe me, I have played over 2000 games (might be closer to 3000) since season 3. I have had to deal with afk, troll, flamer, baiter, people who continuously made crude jokes, sexual jokes, slurs, etc. many, many, many times in ranked or normal or hilariously even in AI. Believe me when I say I fully understand how frustrated it is to play with 1 and sometimes even 2,3 afk on your team. I do understand the feelings. But you have to look at it from your other 3 teammates (and even the enemies if you take to all chat). They are frustrated as well and having someone constantly complaining really add a new level of frustration to the game. They have to deal with an afk AND someone who's constantly reminding them of it.

While I can somewhat agreed with you that ori might deserved to be banned, however, if you look at your chat log from the viewpoint of a casual observer such as myself, you did harassed the ori no? You can't just go pick a fight with everyone who insulted you. That's a good way to get into troubles. You need to learn to ignore it, report her, and move on with your life. You will only play with her maybe once or twice in your lifetime. Why risk your account for something so stupid?

You have absolutely no way of knowing who reported you. Many times when Tantram comes around to clarify things, he'll point out that the people who were thought not to have reported actually did report.

If it doesn't contribute to meaningful teamwork, then it shouldn't be typed. Harassing your teammate doesn't contribute to meaningful teamwork, and you left yourself as reportable.
