AFK

I know from experience that reporting other people does not make the game better, in fact i find that I am usually matched with worse players and trolls when I report, hence why I have stopped reporting.

My other concern, is that recently I was placed in a low priority queue for 5 games twice, because I had been afk for the first couple of minutes in my game and the team voted for a remake. Unfortunately, I was afk for actual proper personal reasons, and I did return to the game both times within a minute or so from it being voted a remake. But, they are the rules and I will cop that. But in doing the remake, my team is not disadvantaged or suffer a loss, apart for about 10 mins of time lost. And personally again, I do find that the games that I was in the low priority queue, I was matched with a much lower skilled team then the enemy teams, but I know that Riot will deny that occurs...but...it comes a time when coincidences just happen to often.

Anyway, I just played a ranked game where the singed on my team fed 4 kills to the enemy team, then went afk and did not return. We obviously lost as we just could not out damage/tank the enemy team 4v5. In losing the match, I lost 18LP. So, i would like to know what will happen to summoner Kantong12 (the singed in the game) as he went afk and I am aware that the team had reported him.

What I am getting at is, my gripe is that if I am punished 5 low priority queues (and matched with obviously lower quality team mates) for being the cause of the remake, and that remake does not disadvantage my team.....shouldn't a player going afk throughout the game where the team can't remake and will most likely suffer a loss and loss of LP, shouldn't that player be punished more than a player who causes the remake?

I also extend an offer to the Riot team to duo queue with me on the OCE servers, because I sometimes think that they don't actually know how hard the grind is at the lower elo's, and if they duo'd with us plebs at lower elos, they just might have to face the facts on the either shortcomings of the game, or the intentional setup of the game match making to ensure that there are a large number of players that fill the lower ranks.

Don't get me wrong Riot, I am not for one second saying that I should be challenger and I am not blaming my teams for losing, I am blaming the AFK's, and the matching me with these obvious beginners or trolls that are quite obviously out played by superior enemy teams.

I am interested in what response Riot would have for this.

I agree completely with your sentiments regarding the efficacy and errors in Riot's systems. However, I think you will be hard pressed to find yourself getting a response from a Rioter, and even harder pressed to get a response that admits their systems are a failure and do nothing for the community.

Riot gets money from teenagers who pay for skins no matter what, then if they get banned they just start a new account and pay for more skins. As long as Riot keeps getting money, they couldn't care less about the health of the community, who's playing, etc. And it just so happens that the toxic players and the ones who actually deserve bans are the ones giving them money, so they don't care that their systems produce false positives. Because every false positive is a "success story" they can tout for their systems, as they won't admit it was a false positive. Thus they go around prancing and proclaiming their success in making the community less toxic; when in reality the players that are getting punished are those Riot should be striving to keep for a healthy community.

Best of luck to you in the future, and I'm sorry that you have to deal with this crap.

TL;DR, except for the first paragraph. You think reporting causes you to get matched with more trolls and toxic people? Lol. Talk about false correlations. Anyways, don't stop reporting. It's the only way, other than sending support tickets for reporting, to fight trolls. It doesn't work that well, but it's all we got. The more reports they get, the faster they will be punished. Damn, maybe that's why so many people say they report trolls but they don't get punished. Because people like you don't bother reporting people when they troll your games.

So you don't report anyone for going afk then want to know what happens to the people you don't report?

That's some college thinking.
