I lost LP and got low priority for a game that I dc'ed in but came back won, and did well.

Is this intended? I mean I know its there to prevent leavers but is it intended for people who legitimately had internet problems came back and tried their best to catch up and win the game?

EDIT: To clarify I dc'ed at min 3-4 I think and came back at min 15-16ish, ended up farming getting a few kills even got a quadra kill and won the game as a team, still got placed in low priorty even though I had no prior afk behaviour in the last 5-6 months IIRC.

Yeah, they changed it to work this way. One of my flex games a couple of weeks ago I dcd cuz my power blew. Came back after 5 minutes and still won. Unfortunately, I didn't get credit and was given a loss in my promotions.

I would submit a support ticket if you really haven't had a history, it's not supposed to punish you after one thing I believe.

This is how the system has worked forever. Any game in which you leave for enough time to be marked a Leaver will count as a loss for you. This is intended as a deterrent against leaving games out of rage, coming back and winning, then acting as if nothing happened.

However, even it you didn't ragequit, you still left your team at a large disadvantage without a player for 10 minutes of the game. You shouldn't expect to be rewarded for their ability to hold their own.
