Increased Trolls?

I've been playing league for the past two and a half years now and the amount of games lost to trolls and afkers has increased ten fold over the month of December. I thought in the beginning it was just my luck but as we are approaching the end of the month it is a trend that is hard to overlook. Roughly 2 or 3 out of every 5 games has a troll in it whether it be the guy who bans your hovered champ in champ select or the intent feeder who flames you then afks 15 minutes in. I am wonder if you too are noticing the increased amount of trolls in ranked games.

We don't ban players who are toxic we take away there skins and have them start new accounts making them more toxic. Each time a toxic player makes a new account they are matched up with new players who learn to be toxic from the players making new accounts. I imagine the amount of toxic players will continue to increase until the system changes.

You have solid evidence which confirms that this is how the system works?

Best response ever. It's an infinity loop where Riot gets to make money off IP and EXP boosts and reselling the same skins.

The result of kids who can't control their childish emotions. Sad.

What would you propose? How would you change the system?

Charge 10$ for the game.

You know how many scripting toxic accounts you would see after a year? down 90%

People that have never played lol won't pay for it and that would hurt the player base. I think accounts should have some proof of identity (Have to verify a phone number using text confirmation or somerhing) this way toxic players will eventually run out of phone numbers for smurfs.

Increased kiddies home from school.

Yep and bitter that their parents didn't get them all the toys they wanted.

It's because you are playing when kids are out of school. 100% of the trolls are kids and they are all out for winter break.

Trolls dont exist and nothing but chat related bans/afk/leaving game i.e. automated stuff gets banned. You could go TF and teleport straight to enemy fountain every time its up and not get banned for it. Because its in game and every button but afk/leaving and offensive language might as well not be there

Problem is the absolutely could automate this, they just refuse to implement a system where by competitive players are held to competitive standards.

I've had the same bad luck. My last FIVE games in a row, i've had 4 dc's that we couldn't remake (all around 3 min mark dc) or this last game I had a talon go 0/14 against a morgana and intentionally feed. All Ranked. Basically I have to not play league for a while until the amount of dc's and griefing goes down.
