Can someone at riot permenently ban me from chat behavior?

I would really appreciate it if they would because I have a very bad attitude in league and I have spent more money then I would like to say I do, but I just got off of a 14 day suspension and I was wondering if someone could just perma ban my chat because I would get too tempted and just talk smack. thank you.

Wouldn't stop the problem mate. I'm willing to bet this critical/short temper/ 24/7 annoyed attitude bothers you irl too. Do some introspection and try to figure out why you react the way you to certain situations. If you have the means, use a counselor.

Isn't there an option to turn off "Chatlog" ingame? pretty sure its been a feature since season 4

Yea but that wouldn't fix the problem at the center of all this, which is you. No one is forcing you to say whatever you do in game. You're making those choices on your own, understand that choices have consequences or else Riot will check you for you.

Sorry but no. Even if you were permamuted there's no guarantee you won't just switch to other forms of griefing your team, which many people did when Riot tried that before the IFS was introduced. From Riot Tantram:

It really breaks down into two categories.

1.) Helping players reform 2.) Shielding others from the behavior, at a cost.

We used to issue chat restrictions that essentially scaled indefinitely.

We were able to determine that after a certain point the penalty no longer helped with reform. The 10-game and 25-game counts for chat restrictions are based on data that they were both light enough, and felt strict enough to encourage people to understand their behavior is unacceptable in game and change it.

We also saw that the players in this 'large restriction' category defaulted to gameplay altering means of harassing their team. It caused an increase in feeding and trolling.

The sample size of this population and time frame is huge. Essentially the time spanning from the introduction of chat restrictions to the introduction of IFS.

So my question for you is, would you rather have more feeders and less negative chat?

It's pretty clear: if someone isn't gonna behave properly despite being given multiple chances to do so then why shouldn't they be removed from the game?

If you know you have an attitude problem then it's on you to try to fix it yourself rather than rely on others to fix it for you.

some people unbind the enter key or just automatically mute everyone in game. riot doesn't do it themselves because they believe people should be able to control themselves

fun fact

some players asked riot to delete their account: months later they cried about rushed decision.

tl;dr: change yourself, not other's to change you.-

To all that are saying I should just adjust my attitude I am just saying I am a toxic player for sure, I wont deny. I could think that I am not going to be toxic but it might just come out at some point. And I really wouldn't like to see my time go to waste. thank you for your time
