Trolls are ruining league!! Most frustrating hour of league

Dear Riot,

I have actually never been to the forums because i usually deal with things on my own (bad players, afks, feeders etc..) whatever everyone has a bad game, we move on. But this case is way over any of this, and it might actually be enough to make me stop playing league altogether.

Yesterday i played the most frustrating game of my life. 83 kills for my team vs 35 kills, massive gold advantage, 2 inhibs down with Baron.. and we lose.

How? I asked myself the same question.. all i can say is watch the 56 minute game replay and see for yourself.(http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2440101807/50642262?tab=overview) The two trolls i got paired up with yesterday have actually disgusted me to the point that i don't even want to play another game of summoner's rift again. There is something wrong with your system when people like this can get into games, put out this kind of performance becaus it's "ranked flex" and it doesn't matter and get away with it; after what.. a reporting system that isn't going to do anything to them??

These are the kind of people i would ban from the game permanently if i could. Win or lose is not the issue.. but wasting an hour of my time on a sure win and losing it because of some douches who take nothing seriously because all they do is play all day anyway is absolutely unnacceptable.

Pretty sure this is all for nothing... so i'm going to stop there and at least i will have gotten it out. Goodbye Riot, hope you spend some time trying to fix your behaviour system one day and the game becomes fun again.. because win or lose, this has been the only game i have been playing for a while, because i enjoyed it.. now am gonna go buy a ps4 instead.

It's a common thing at low bronze levels. Typically higher ranked players will create alternative accounts that they can then use to crush at low ELO. The issue is that they don't want these accounts to rise; so after enjoying themselves; they ensure that they lose the game.

Although I still find it completely disgusting to ruin the game for others for an ego boost, at least i understand why they do it and start making my peace with it.

First time i have ever seen it this bad.. it makes sense now.. I still feel like caving in their faces in for that 25/9/26 going to waste.. but now there's a little pity mixed into those feelings :p

It is a mixture of this and perma-banned smurfs.
Some toxic people get perm banned, and create a new account. Rinse and repeat, they also spend their time in low level norms.

So your team is like... 2 High Elo Smurfs. One guy that drops the N bomb every 7 seconds, named Hitler_was_Jesus, who cares so little about being re-banned, he named himself Hitler_was_Jesus. One guy trying to learn jungle for the first time in his life, who is actually new, who the entire team cusses out the whole game for making simple mistakes that new guys make.

Actually what i need to do is build a team of players with a similar, growth mindset who don't flame eachother for mistakes, and who all get out of bronze together.. i know, dream on! :p

Intentionally losing the game, truly or implied should be an instant 7 day ban.

I have yet to find anyone who wants to play with teammates like this so the easiest way to make everyone happy is to get rid of them.

I agree with you 100%, it's just completely disrespectful to other players... but i doubt it's going to happen... doubt riot cares enough to go beyond the stats of the game. And even if it does.. how would i even know?

I know.. well other than the fact that we surrendered after a ridiculous gold lead and map advantage... but in the replay the trolling is quite clear. Not sure how to make that available though..

You are bronze 5 in flex what do you expect? Learn to take objectives lmao. This stuff only happens in b5. They weren't trolls they were probably just bad and only wanted kills.

Actually they weren't bad.. that's the frustrating part.. they litterally hid in the jungle and stopped moving once we had the advantage.. no pressure anywhere. It's hard to take objectives 1v5 (actually 2v5, i had 1 other serious guy). We did what we could for 25 minutes.. but forget it, there was no chance. How can i get out of bronze with games like this? Not worth the frustration

And to answer your question about expectations.. i would expect stupidities like this in normals, but in ranked? I'm trying to get out of bronze.. call me naive but i figure if ur playing ranked u want to move up.. not throw a game after that kind of lead because "it's flex".

And as i said, they were clearly trolling, watching the replay it's very easy to see. Just dissapointed to have to play with these kinds of players. U want to screw around? Play norms. End of story

You're just as bad if you're the same rank. Even if you had trolls one game it wouldnt prevent you from climbing. The issue with bronzes is that they don't focus on their own mistakes and blame other people. This is really dangerous because if you think you're doing nothing wrong, you won't change how you play, making you stagnate at the skill level you're at.

I never said i didn't do anything wrong and i am bronze for a multitude of reasons which i accept. But when i play ranked, i play with a minimum level of seriousness and i expect the same from other (maybe that's also my fault). I wouldn't be here complaining and wasting my time for a flamer, someone who tilts, feeds, has a bad game.. whatever.

I am complaining about a genuine trolling such as this. Look at the damn graphs and stats, how do you lose that game??? With trolls. Period.

And the fact that i just have to live with and they get nothing is very frustrating. I have better things to do than to waste my time with this kind of bs.

Then you'd realize you rarely get trolls and they don't affect your rank. If you think you have trolls every game, you don't. They're people who are just bad and at the same skill level as you. If you have good macro and know what to do you have to lead teams.

Yeah well when u play a game or 2 per day on average.. one of these is disgusting enough to make you seriously reconsider investing the few hours of free time you have per week into this game... there are many other less frustrating games to be played

In the same way you're just as bad as a serial killer if you take the same bus route to work as one. Adjacency is not a means of comparing personal characteristics. You have people moving up and down and sitting in one spot in rank constantly. To argue they're all the same skill level because of where they are in the moment is pure willful ignorance. People told me I was a bronze-skilled player while I was climbing through bronze and I made it to silver 2 in a week and a half. Now people are throwing that in my face whenever I play norms. My current rank reflects nothing but my current rank. Imaqtpie can be in bronze 30 times over multiple accounts but if he gets rank 1 he isn't considered bronze anymore just because he plays on a new smurf. You're merely glancing at the surface.

Though if you look at it, the game is a team game even if he succeeds in 7cs per min good kda, if his team won’t budge for splitting to get an easier way to siege then it’s more of a factor on the knowledge of maps. B/c I find the thing in bronze elo, I’ve been there and I learned the issues, that it’s not easy to make your team do what YOU want. And that’s not how it goes ether, the only thing that says is people littlery have no clue what they should do to win. Instead they are taking one part of the game which is fighting this is the mindset that many struggle with. Even if it’s enjoying it hit hp bars you still need logic to win the game even ez champions.

no this shit doesnt only happen in bronze 5... dont make bs statements thanks. even in dia 4 3 2 people seem to troll me hard as fk. to the point the game is over before 15 min. so please dont talk smack

Uhh no they don't. I also play with diamonds doesn't happen. Also I think you'd be classified as one of these trolls with 6-7 average deaths per game. You clearly play hyper aggressively and get caught out a lot ;) Also you feed in a lot of your games that's why you're not climbing.

People still troll in ranked solo too but you just have to know how to deal with them. I had an Ekko who started trolling me because I backed off a countergank when he survived it, but then he decided to go back in and suicided. Naturally of course this was my fault, so he abondoned lane to try and follow me and take my jungle camps. So i decided to go to where the enemy jungler was and let him have the kill. He then proceeded to play normal.

Trolls typically stop trolling if they're not getting a reaction. It sucks, but sometimes you gotta mind-game your team as well.

I appreciate ur comment, only difference is that they didn't start trolling because something happened.. they just decided that a sure win was too easy and they should just throw it. Plain in simple trolling.

Someone who starts trolling after a tilt, because of a bad game or bad move... whatever, it happens, i report and move on to my next game.

This was different.. and as i said, pushed me to bring it up here for the first time ever. I don't even know why i am doing it.. maybe because i actually liked league and don't want to quit but i am so disgusted that i am dealing with it the only way i can find as a last resort.

Maybe some kind of support will help, maybe all i'll get is people saying it's my fault cuz i'm in bronze.. that will probably determine whether i decide to give it another chance.. i dunno. So far.. am still raging

Agreed, which is how we lost the advantage.. i was full build and couldn't finish since the 30 min mark or something..

^Truth is there are games that are unwinnable but if you are good enough you will climb. Trolls will be in a minority of games. If you are good enough you will wim consistantly win enough to offset any games lost by trolls. Honestly, sometimes you can get so fed you can carry and win despite troll/afks as long as you stay focused, keep making the right plays, and don't tilt. Two people trolling in one game is a bit of an outlier, so don't expect that often.

Yeah.. well at some point i lost it.. and the only guy playing the game with me left... it was 1 shove away from a win for like 20 minutes.. but 2/3v5 was just not doable.. yhey had time to catch up on builds.. my 25 kills and gold didn't give me much after full build..

Would it help you to know that I have lost a match where I had 40 kills.

I had 3 trolls/int feeders.

Their Gragas also had 40 kills, and I still made the game go to 45 minutes.

I feel you man.... Just got off a 3 game troll streak and now im tilted.... Which is why im here to see other people having the problem im having and it makes me feel a little better im not the only one having the issue. I dont think im a good player completely but i know im not that bad. I joined up with my friends in a gold 2 match and did pretty well. Would say i atleast belong in b2 but the trolls are constant. I went like 20+ kills and less than 3 deaths against a riven top lane. And what do you know my bot lane has 9 deaths a piece...... Ended that game 32/11 and was winning in 3v1 but i couldnt carry my team because the enemies would just 5v1 me and push. One person can only do so much when it comes to trolls. Just had a game where i was support and my adc went nunu and trolled our jg taking his camps while i was left to die to a ashe mf combo. And the ashe took our blue buff to make it even better. Before that i was support and my adc told me to get sivir for him. Then insisted i play leona. Told him i dont have leona and he took it anyway and fed because i wouldnt trade. Before that game i was playing mid and my bot lane started feeding... They were duo and fed enemy bot lane. By 15 minutes the enemy adc had over 10 kills. Trolls everywhere... If you cant beat them join them.... Jk just get friends and do a 5 man. Im not playing ranked anymore till i have a 5 man and you should do the same. Will climb that way. Ok now for chapter 2... Lol jk

So i just signed on by fluke and saw this.. wow so much has changed since then.. been going a lot better, both solo and as a five man.. :) screw the trolls, i just beat them now :P still bronze.. but climbng slow and steady ;)

you guys stalled until everybody was evened on the map with full builds what do you expect is gonna happen once every1 has full build its not down to gold lead anymore its down to what your matchup is and how your team utilizes it

Had a game today where our mid laner Zed told us he was in his promos and told us not to troll. Well you guessed it he was the one that trolled most of the game and after we called him out for he was instantly toxic, good thing was we were able to carry him and kindly told him if hes going to tell people not to troll its best he heads by his own words. We got told to go fuck ourselves. Not even a thank you for carrying a bad player in his promos.
