We need something for people who ban their teammates champs

Riot can you give us somthing for when people do this? like maybe if the champ is clicked in by your teammate you are unable to ban it. or when i sees that you team mate did that it gives you a free dodge. or a specific report that say they banned a teammates champ. IDK but im tired of getting teammates that are tilted off the face of the earth because one of our teammates (typically the ADC) decided to be a Hecarim hecarims butt

No. Because every player has the ability to ban whoever they want.

Blocking the ability to ban to hover could be abused just as easily, preventing you from banned a champion just so they can swap to a different champion afterwards. They wanted to leave the highly contested pick up for the enemy to get.

As Pandaa hinted at below, the ban mechanic takes priority over the pick mechanic. This means that players are permitted to ban any champion they want, for any reason.

I hate it when people ban pick intents as well. I think people should be banned for it, specifically if they don't comunícate in champ select. But removing people's ability to is the wrong move. There are genuine cases where some who is last pick hovers some shit that's broken as fuck and can't be traded with. Also you can abuse that by trolling your team with hovering someone you don't intend to play but is broken, and this tilting your team.

If riot intends on doing anything the free Dodge would be the only reasonable answer. And I can't even think of a bad result of this.

As a gameplay tool, banning has priority over picking.

That's the way it is.

Currently, some people choose to ban for the sake of annoying people. That is annoying.

If the rules were different, some people would choose to hover OP champs (and not pick them) to annoy people. Some people are dicks, no matter what rules there are.

But, if someone is banning picks for the purpose of annoying you, they're very likely to do other things to annoy you as well. Those other things are all reportable.

If someone had a legitimate reason for banning the champion, they're very likely to NOT do anything else for the purpose of annoying you. So, to increase your chances of winning, it's a good idea to not tilt over bans.
