Why is this community so unfair?

In my opinion this system what riot games has really unfair. People even report me when i ask "can you buy sightstone" or when i ask "can you ward when i play adc". People flame me everyday and riot just says i have to mute them cause otherwise i get banned. What is that for stupid rule? When somebody punch you in the face in real life you punch back to defend yourself. Why are players who defending them self get banned when other players are asking for a fight? I think this game would be more fun if the chat bar would be removed. If you mute people every time then you get banned for not communicate with the team really wtf.

Asking others the reason for them not buying an item is not punishable Flaming/Harassing others is punish worthy

Why is every example of word spraying always resulting in someone being punched in the face irl.....

You can not get banned for saying nothing inside the game

"Defending yourself" implies that your attacking them back might somehow mitigate the abuse and prevent it from happening in the future. When you retaliate with negative behavior in the game, you aren't doing either of those things; you actually tend to perpetuate and inflame the issue.

Muting, however, immediately stops their verbal abuse and is more likely to result in them stopping and focusing more on the game because you won't respond. Reporting them helps build a case against them so that they can be punished to prevent that behavior in the future.

Basically, your retaliation is likely to have the exact opposite effect of what you intend.

In real life, if someone punches you and you punch back, both will get nabbed by the police.

You can defend you in LOL, but there is no need to counter attack.

In fact, what are you defending against? In real life, your life may be in danger, in game only your ego is in danger.

I'll bust your myth already, reports don't do anything to you if you didn't do anything wrong.

The fact of the matter is, riot claims it can't control what your four teammates do, yet they ask you to. They ask you to bring four other strangers together, as a team. Yet they don't understand that one of those four, 90% of the time, is trying to cook, or talk on the phone, or have a conversation, while playing league. Another one of those four, is just bad at the game, and you got lucky enough to be stuck with them on your team. Another of the four, is trolling on purpose, while his friend watches over his shoulder, and they laugh and smoke a bowl. The remaining member of the four, is actually trying, and is so tilted from the bullshit riot puts on your team everytime, that they give up. Everyone ends up salty, and riot doesn't give a shit, because they are getting rich. This game is broken. Completely, and utterly broken. That's why everyone is leaving. Google it. This game is losing players. Rapidly. Including me. I went from playing no less than 10 games a day....to...well..I haven't played a game of league in two weeks. Why would I? I know before I quene up what i'm going to get. Riot does too. I'm getting toxic, I'm getting immature kids, and I'm getting nothing done for reporting them.

Short answer. In real life if someone punches you and you punch back you get a fight. Riot wants you to focus on the game instead of bickering with someone who's behind a screen and has no feasable ways to hurt you. If you don't like the rules stop playing and find a game that suits your needs.

stop asking others for something you could do yourself first and foremost, if you have to ask the most likely result you will achieve will be the opposite of what you wanted anyway.
