Riot Employee I met in gameplay forced me to change my name for no reason. What is this all about.??

Yesterday I ran into a Riot Employee in gameplay. Even though I'm an Akali main I wanted to play jungle that game so I played KhaZix. My top laner was toxic and on top of that the Riven fed. But that's not what I'm here to talk about. What I'm here to discuss is the Riot Employee on the enemy team who played Darius decided to pick on me after the game. I was trying to explain to him that my top laner needed a chat restriction because he flamed for no reason. Then he was like "KhaZix will be getting a name change" for no reason. That's so unfair. (My name was Põrnstãr Akãlî at the time) There is so many other people with Pornstar in their name. There was this well known Challenger Player named "Pornstar Zilean" I see alot of high elo games on Youtube where people have "Pornstar" in their name. It's not even that bad compare to some of the other names I've seen. It's 10 times worse. I felt like I was picked on by this Riot employee for no reason. Im not calling any names but it's SO UNFAIR. Akali means SO MUCH to me. I love akali before and after the rework and taking that name away from me for no reason makes me not want to play anymore. I feel a very strong connection with Akali and I mained her most of the time I've been playing league and taking away the name I loved most from me hurts so much and it's so unfair. After I played some games my client randomly crashed. When i logged back on there was the option to change my name. I mean I didnt have to pay RP or IP to change it I guess that Riot worker made it appear on my client when I logged back on but this hurts me so much. There is so many other players with Pornstar in their name. Pornstar Skarner, Pornstar Ahri and the list goes on. My name was "Põrnstãr Akãlî" I dont know why but changing my name really bothers me. Why isnt the other people have to change their name also.?! There's high elo players with pornstar in their name why dont they have to change it too.? Im sorry but i felt like this Riot Employee picked on me for no reason. And taking away my name when I didnt even say anything in all chat all game is so unfair. I need justice. Please help me. I dont know if having Pornstar in your name is wrong.. But there's many players with worse names than that I've seen in youtube videos and when I play rank at my elo. Im sorry if my name is offensive but atleast give me a warning just dont force me to change my name like that when it's not even that bad. Im hurt. I want my name old name back. Playing akali without that name won't feel the same because I've had it for quite awhile. I've played against Riot Blaustoise when I was in Gold 1. I lane against him with Põrnstãr Akãlî as my name and we all had a fun game and he told me nothing about my name. When the game started all he said was "We have 2 people with their main champs in their name lol" (me and my top laner who is a 1 trick shaco) We even all chat each other for a little. Game was so friendly I even honored him when I barely honor people. Riot Blaustoise is currently Platinum 5 so why does this Silver 1 Riot Employee picked on me and forced me to change my name for no reason.?! I tried to add him to ask him what I did wrong or did to deserve it and he never accepted. I'd like to say who it is but I'm not calling any name. But honestly Riot. I want my old name back please. I dont have RP or IP to change it. I just hope u guys can maybe give me a free name change like what that other Riot Employee did. Playing akali without that name won't feel the same. Akali has been my baby for so long. I currently have 749.5k Mastery Points with her. Almost 1 million and I would like to have my old name back please :) I find it very unfair considering there is so many worse names than the one I had and mine wasnt even that bad. I dont like why I was forced to change my name by a Riot worker i met in "GAMEPLAY" when i never said anything bad to him or anything toxic at all. Please help me out. Thank u very much Akali <333

You drew attention to yourself by telling him/her another player needed a chat restriction, you should have reported the flamer and moved on, but instead you decided to force the issue, which made him/her potentially see you as toxic, and your name was offensive, once again though, do you have any screenshots and such?

That's funny because in other games when they don't like your name they just randomly change it to something appropriate.

You violated ToS by having an offensive name and merit a name change. it doesn't matter if other people do it as well. Fact of the matter, you did it and you were caught. Be happy it wasn't an account suspension.

I think the comment section shows more issue with the community and Riot than with your actions.

First, your name? Not offensive in the slightest. Sorry but anyone that has difficulties understanding that people actually work in the sex industry, and that it isn't something that should be seen as either shameful or derogatory, are mentally deficient.

There are a few ex-pornstars that play League and stream, should they be banned because this Riot employee finds their profession personally offensive?

The issue with Riot's TOS in general is they use vague language which basically ends up meaning, "We can do what we want, for whatever reason we want".

I've been here long enough where I've even seen people get the perm-ban simply because they complained for too long, so your name change doesn't surprise me.

Offensive? Loose and vague term. Some people are offended by clowns. Some people are offended by minorities. Some people find the mere existence of other people offensive, esp children, lots of people simply don't like children, and are offended by them.

To be offended is a personal choice you make. There is no list of static 'offensive' material which is true for everyone.

"Toxic" behavior includes even things like complaining... yes. Complaining. In a system where we are supposed to report bad behavior, complaining is considered toxic.

Meanwhile I see 101 different names that are 10000000x more offensive than 'pornstar akali' every single day.

Sorry that you were the target of harassment by a Riot employee, but sadly, there is nothing you can do about it. They genuinely don't care.

If you only want to rant, the forum are a good place to go. But, if you want something done then report directly to rito through a ticket. Also, are you even sure it was a riot employee? Just asking cuz riot would want proof if a employee was misusing their power. One last thing, have you filled a ticket yet? What you doing still reading this? Go! Go! Go! Once this is done Rito will be looking at it in no time letting you know their respond and actions. So go!

You deserved a name change. That's a fact. You aren't getting around that. The flamer will probably get a punishment for being a turd in front of a rioter. They aren't related.

a. Your name broke the rules. You got caught. Cope.

b. You drew attention to yourself by directly contacting the employee.

c. Calling for reports is reportable. Don't do it. Trying to use a Riot employee as your hammer would fall under the exact same category. Be glad the Riot employee didn't decide to call you out on that one, and just had you change your summoner name.

The riven was all chatting also. He knew she was toxic. I just said she deserved a chat ban after the game was ended. How is that seeing me as toxic.?? And no I dont have screenshots.

I wasnt the only one that said report/ban the Riven. I know when someone is a toxic flamer. I usually dont care if people talk trash or whatever but this person flamed 95% of the game. Yes I muted the riven at one point but 15 minutes later when I unmuted the person, they were still flaming. Even after the game he/she was flaming and the riot employee saw that but said nothing at all. He/she called her entire team garbage, i mean it was funny but annoying. And he forced me to changed my name cause i said he/she deserves a chat ban.? That's actually unfair.

Regardless of what that doesnt give him rights to force me to change my name. It's not fair. Honestly uncalled for, considering the fact that i never said or did anything wrong. I felt like he picked on me for legit no reason.
