Actually yes. If it devolves into a full on fight in public grounds, both/all parties will be held accountable and detained by law enforcment.

tbh idk if you are agreeing or disagreeing.

But well yes, if someone smacks you, and you smack them back. chances are you are gonna still get in trouble. or just get beat up even more.

Unfortunately, telling another player to harm themselves is one of Riot strictest zero-tolerance policies, right up there with hate speech. There is no conceivable reason you should ever tell another player to do that.

I understand that he was causing problems, and I'm sorry you had to experience that, but the approach you took is not an acceptable way to respond to the situation. Hopefully you reported him, so that the system can issue the correct punishment or add his behavior to his account history for future reports.

Deserved. Even if the dude was toxic and griefing, you basically showed that you can get as low as him. He probly got reported and one day karma will find it's way but being aggressive and rude to him placed him lower than him. All you can do is mute those people, don't comment and report after game giving information about what happened in the game. Report without description generally ain't taken intoconsideration unless you got reported for verbal harassement and you were actually toxic during the game.

in chinese, we have similar terms which are used in everyday conversation e.g. "just die already" or "that's so bad, just die". what's the big deal? - are you going to really commit suicide if i said to you "kys"?

There is a difference between "appropriate" and "unlawful." Also, according to the terms you agree to by playing Riot's game, it is inappropriate regardless of your personal values.

Riot doesn't ban players for doing illegal things, they ban players for being assholes.

kys is just a term - just because you use it, it doesn't mean you're an asshole. it can be used in different contexts. who are you to determine what is appropriate and what is not

It's the majority of players for this game. The rules were built by players' activities in the tribunal and the boards.

You can call it pc, but you're attempting to defend telling someone to commit suicide. Second, it serves no purpose in this game. There is no rationale to have it in game.

Much like "your mom" jokes are met with strict punishment in Asian servers, so is kys met similarly here. If it doesn't offend you, then don't report it. But it is highly punished due to overwhelming aversion to wishing someone to commit suicide.
