LoL needs better support/reporting system

Hello I've been playing league of legends off and on for about 5 or so years. I started in s3 I think and overall I think they just lost a customer (I'm sure they don't care). Anyways first off let me bring up the fact that this company is a huge business which rakes in millions of dollars every year. But they don't operate like a business, instead, they enjoy the properties of a business but don't operate like a business. Example: they don't have customer support. Why do most businesses out there provide a phone support number? I've asked a riot employ this and they told me because they don't want customers to call in and "yell" at them. Most support issues would easily be resolved over the phone. I can't talk to anyone besides some guy in a chatroom. Yeah that's reassuring. My account just received a permaban after 6 years of playing. In the early stage of league of legends, the average game was very aggressive and competitive. People trolled, flammed, ragequit, inted, etc on a daily occurrence. I received my first ban back in 2013. This was around the time after or around the tribunal which in my opinion was better off than what league has now. I quit league for a year or so and then recently joined back around 2017. Now 2018, I received 2 warnings leading to a permaban. through my research, I've noticed that reporting is more common and people can just throw reports out and if you said ANYTHING negative in that game it is considered toxic. IMO toxic behavior includes hate speech threats etc..not replying back to a toxic player or taunting the enemy team or saying ff at 20? (yes someone from riot said that is being toxic) So every game you are expected never to get emotional or think/act negative which is a human nature. So ironically in 2018 the word toxic is overly used and if someone doesn't like you consider yourself reported. I've been a gamer my whole life and played online games since 2003 and this is the first game I've ever noticed penalizing it's player base harshly. In most competitive games people taunt flaunt etc and don't get penalized.. Some people are just oversensitive. I've met and played with people who said that they don't get offended by someone saying "kys" etc. I've played with someone in real life and he actually laughed when someone said that to him. As for as the reporting system, I think it's failing and even had a riot employee admit that it's outdated. When I was banned they told me I was among 0.0003% of population that was considered toxic. I doubt that I am the most toxic player ever. Do I get mad? Yes. In every game? No. I used to enjoy this game but with all the penalties and permabans they are dishing out I mean we all know that this game is for non mature gamers. You shouldn't get penalized for being negative. Things happen. You forgot to smite dragon and now because of that the other team got dragon. That's going to tilt you or upset you. What are we supposed to do? Run around the whole game with a smile on our face? League is a very emotional game. If you are going to punish people based off of how you react then that's a little unfair. Not once have I told someone to "kys" or any "hate speech" if anything the accational "F-- You" or "stfu" which is just part of gameplay. How can that be abusive or harassment when you don't tell that person to stop? In my opinion, don't be sensitive to everything. If a community/game can't handle a little competitiveness then I don't belong in this community and Riot doesn't deserve any more money from me. This is the only game I've ever played where bans are thrown everywhere for dumb useless reasons. Even on the home page it says "League is a very competitive game" if you can't handle the heat than stay out of the kitchen. Have fun having 13 year olds being the player base of the community. This game should be meant for mature audiences and serious gamers after all it is a pc only game. We are all adults here (mostly) so if you are going to punish and treat us like little babies than I'll just find another game to play. Thoughts?

So, you're mad that you have been banned, and you think that calling and talking to someone would give you a different answer than Player Support tickets will?

I agree with you, but you’re going to get downvotes just because you’re permabanned. I do agree that reporting as gone a bit too overboard. Hell, I’ve reported people that have done NOTHING wrong but I was just angry at them (and yes it’s not good to do, I don’t do it anymore), and they get restricted for no reason. I don’t see how “ff at 20” is reportable unless you’re spamming the chat with it.

Siderant: It’s kind of ridiculous the type of hate people put on this forum, but the instant someone like you comes around with an actually valid point, they use their “I’m not permabanned” ego and say you’re a bad person regardless.

Farewell fellow competitive gamer. I fully understand your sentiment and meaning, and agree with it, bar a few minor details.

ie. This game is evidently mostly populated by children just like most free games like Fortnite, but it shouldn't be everyone else's responsibility and liability to pander to their sensibilities and cover their eyes.
