Hadn't played in a couple weeks because I'm busy and just started playing again a few days ago. Everything was working fine, and then I try logging in today on the 16th and my account was wrongfully suspended for two weeks for MMR boosting which I have never done before ever!! I haven't even played any ranked matches since the season ended! FIX THIS RIOT. It would appear that I'm not the only one either.

so in other words they should unban me asap since it's their fault. but, knowing riot, they're not gonna care and im gonna have to wait two weeks to be able to play again.

because you said they do mmr boosing bans in large waves which means (obviously) that people who have never mmr boosted are sure to get banned. so yes, in other words, riot needs to fix this shit asap.

The bans for them are just sent out at the same time. Whether the ban is done immediately or in a group doesn't affect the results of the investigation.

While error is indeed possible, I think you misunderstand how the ban wave works. Each and every individual is investigated separately and equally. i mean i've been suspended plenty of times before for being toxic, which is fine since it was my fault for being a flamer, but for me being suspended for being accused of mmr boosting is dumb.

Its not some automated system that just bans the people it thinks are boosting with no initial investigation. Once their system has picked up on some iconsistences in your account they will do further investigations, untill they find you guilty.
The likley-hood that you did absolutly nothing is damn near 0%, otherwise you wouldnt have been banned.
If you cant give a ligit reason as to why riot might possibly suspect you of boosting and then proce your case, than you are just as guilty as OJ Simpson

it's a pretty faulty shitty fuckin system riot has then. i've only ever logged into one different computer to play league and that was when i was at fort irwin for annual training for the army about a year back. otherwise i've literally only ever logged into league from my personal home computer. never shared my account with anyone.

im finding it hard to believe as well my friend. i think the only thing that might look even somewhat sketchy of mmr boosting is going from i think it was s5 at the start of the season to ending with gold 4. i have no reason to even mmr boost, idc for that shit. i've been loyal to riot and have put hundreds if not at least a thousand dollars into this game. i wouldn't do anything like mmr boosting to jeopardize me being permabanned. only thing i've ever been suspended for was being toxic, and i've learned my lesson from that, trust me.

Not saying you did or didn't, but also realize that any single instance of another person playing ranked on your account qualifies as boosting. Has anybody else had access to your account at all, or has anybody else played ranked on it?

so you're saying if riot even has just a suspicion of someone else playing on your account because your playing patterns are changing that that's reason enough to get suspended for mmr boosting? and that it's basically my word versus riot's. awesome.
Zielmann1 votesYou're half right. Changing your own play patterns is something that is going to happen over time. Nobody really improves overnight, or magically has different idle click patterns all of a sudden. Also, with boosting, the change will likely revert back to what it was before the boosting occurred (when the owner of the account started using it again). There's no single piece of evidence that automatically flags you as boosted. It's a combination of many things.
But yeah, unfortunately it kinda is your word against theirs. It'd be difficult to prove them wrong, really, cause of how much data they do have.
