So played a game as kayn today and was with a 4 man pre-made. I called jungle and picked kayn fair and square but one of them wanted kayn but after i picked him he just kept saying fuck you and calling me a %%%got so i ignored him and locked in. He picked lee and took smite and so did our zed and they took my red then lee kept taking my camps. All i said in game is below and after i reported him for griefing then i logged on later to a 14 day suspension. do you guys think i deserved this? i'm almost never toxic unless super frustrated but even then i normally mute and keep playing.

Yeah riot EMPLOYEES care very little for random players who get f#%# over with the current report system, it literally counts report , if you get enough you'll just get banned or chat restricted . They say it only counts toxicness but they're all sensetive so saying something like "report" once in the game will probably trigger the entire player support department and system.

Just another side effect of a PC culture. You are collateral damage. But hey, we gotta protect feelings right? Sadly, all these weight we put on words is having the opposite effect. School shootings, suicides... it's because were telling kids these words hurt and they're terrible. So when a kid is called these words, he thinks omg that is supposed to hurt bad and it's so terrible, they aren't supposed to say those things! So they feel a lot more pain, than say in the 70s where bullying was just as prominent, and sometimes more brutal. Yet suicide rates were much lower when "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me".

Why does no one make this correlation? It's so fucking obvious. It's sickening to see the direction this world is going into and Riots policies and your banning is just a byproduct of it.

This happens occasionally. Riot has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, and the word that appears censored in those logs definitely counts. I get that you're repeating what he/she said to you, but that doesn't justify the usage of the language. Often trolls will try to bait others into using that language so they can report them -- since, again, zero tolerance means zero tolerance.

You can try submitting a ticket to Player Support, but I suspect you'll get the same answer.

On the positive side, it doesn't seem like you're that problematic otherwise, so, while your account will be on thin ice for a bit, I don't think you'll have much trouble getting it back to normal standing. That said, I'd suggest keeping conversations of who you're reporting to yourself -- a single report has as much weight as nine, and it often tends to make chat more negative if you mention reporting in general.

Riot have invented an ingenious system in which you risk your account every time you communicate with your team! The best way to be "honorable" is to never type anything into that chat bar.

I'd keep sending a ticket to Riot because if this is exactly what had been said and you said nothing to him in return that involved hate speech I 100% believe you shouldn't be banned at all.

If what you have posted is accurate then you shouldn't be banned.

Automated systems are lame, it's that simple.

However, I will say that far too often people come to this forum and don't tell us the full story, so I'm wondering if your'e leaving out any other details.
