I believe I was chat restricted for popping riots automatic filter when discussing a toxic team mate? The message I sent was to an enemy in response to asking what our top and jungler did that was toxic. I replied with _ "Him and Garen both, the typical "Autistic retard, wahh you can't report me riot wont do anything" toxic player shtick"_ Is this even worth appealing? Or will they just turn me around by telling me not to use those words in game regardless of the context.
They probably will, but it's worth appealing anyway. It does feel like an auto filter punishment to me.
I wouldn't pry. They might escalate it upon further investigation. They think that calling someone a retard is akin to hatespeech. So yeah, personally I would just drop it.
It could also be the sarcastic tone. My GF was just chat restricted after being berated all game by the top lane and ADC duo on our team. She was getting flamed for feeding and she said, "yeah my bad, let me just stop yall from feeding my lane more" and "oh wait i cant." She said this in response to them ganging up on her the whole game, which was triggered after top didn't get a kill from ganking her lane. I even chimed in after she said this because I knew I was 1 of the 4 kills her lane opponent had. I knew Bard was 2 because he died with me one time and had died trying to gank mid another time. 3 of the 4 kills her laner had weren't even from her. She contacted support and was given this line as to why she got chat restricted. Apparently it's verbal abuse because of it's sarcastic tone.
