I don't think I should have gotten permanently banned Here's what I said:

They reported me for no reason when they were the ones that were trolling. This has to be an error. In all honesty I was trying my hardest not to be negative but with teammates like that it's very hard to have self control. I tried to "mute all" but they just kept harassing me with pings. Why am I the one that's penalized when I'm rarely toxic. The whole team ganged up on my for not winning my lane and for saying "lets surrender". I don't find this fair. In your in-client card it says that people should not be flamed when doing ban in game right? Then why am I the one that's banned? I understand that I was a little negative but there are multiple other people that were toxic in my game. I got banned because the whole team reported me for being a little negative. If I was truly toxic to the point where I needed a perma ban I am ready to accept it. However I don't think that's the case in this scenario.

This has to be an error.

It's not. You called someone a misogynistic insult, called your team stupid and hardstuck, and seemingly made game choices to end the game early despite your team not wanting to surrender. That's punishable behavior, and if you had previous punishments than it could easily push you into a permanent ban.

You can mute chat and pings.

You had a negative attitude in chat.

You have had a prior 14 day punishment. Which means, if this would normally get a chat restriction; it escalates to a perm.

You are completely right - it is not deserved and punishment doesn't fit what you did, as it's overly harsh as long as you didn't try to lose the game on purpose(you probably did).

But riot's policy is not about justice, it's about escalating punishments up to the absolute nonsense(pernaban) for any violations of their vague rules. You've escalated higher than you could afford. Sorry about it.

In my opinion, yes

If you don't have the self control to not flame others, even after three previous punishments and a warning that the next punishment will be a perma-ban, and still think you shouldn't get banned because they were toxic too, then you deserve it.

Shouldn't you get banned for being consistently toxic and not toxic during one or two games? It doesn't make any sense for me getting banned by being toxic for one game where as other people are toxic multiple games in a row and don't get banned

If you had a previous 14-day ban, then being consistently a negative nancy would absolutely get you punished. It just so happens that the next punishment tier is permanent bans. So yes it's possible for this to result in a permanent ban.

  1. You can feel like the game is over. But that doesn't mean the game is actually over. If your teammates still wish to try to win the game, then don't try to force them to agree with you.

  2. A game being lost doesn't mean that it can't be useful. A losing game is still an opportunity to learn. Rather than shy away from failure, you should accept it and try to make the most of it. A lost game is only a waste of time if you make it so. Use the time you have in that game to practice how to better play while behind.
