Don't play games with leveling bots

Twisted treeline is infested with leveling bots. I personally can't tell if Riot is doing anything about them, but YOU can. Simply Don't play games with leveling bots.

In champ select, ask the other players if they are people. If the don't answer, let them know you will dodge if they don't.

I usually say something like this "I don't help farm IP for leveling bots. So, I need you to tell me that you are not a bot."

Bots cannot answer you. Real people usually can.

Consider this: The math is simple. The consequence for dodging is only a 6 min temporary ban on getting in a queue. The consequence for joining a game with a leveling bot is a (nearly guaranteed) loss, a minimum of 15 minutes wasted time (because bots can't FF), and the reality that you are helping others cheat, which, by the way, is against the summoners code.

It is a shame that Riot punishes real players for refusing to help fake players farm IP, but that is the reality right now. If Riot would provide for us a way to deal with leveling bots that does not involve violating the summoner's code, I'd gladly adhere to it. But, if you join a queue and Riot pairs you with a leveling bot, you are faced with a Catch-22 situation. No matter whether you decide to play or dodge, you will be in violation of the summoners code either way. What I am suggesting denies the bots IP for the game, so I believe it is the lesser of two evils. This strategy would only be necessary until Riot comes up with a solution to this problem. But, since it has been going on for years, I do not believe that they are capable (or willing) to adequately address it.
