Suggestion: Give players who got banned chance to redeem themselves next season for rewards.

  • The rewards would be unlocked next season once punished player has shown sportsmanlike behavior and achieved X level of honor ( 3-5 ).

  • Would be a good chance to give those who got banned during the end of the season to get second chance for rewards.

  • Works as motivation to not be toxic in game and continue so

I don't see any negative impact this would do, there's a bunch of people out there that might've said one wrong thing in chat or had a bad day/game before season end.

Opinions?

Player A is sportmanlike ect all season and gets tewarded for it. Why should player B get the same rewards if they act toxic?

It's like having a job. You do well you get a raise or promotion ect. If you don't do your job you get warned/fired. Even if you dont get fired you probably end up with less hours or a pay cut ect.

Fat chance. Riot's punishment system is working as intended (proven by your post). Better luck next season.

Riot has done second chance things in the past and it failed.

The incentive for players behaving next year will be to participate in the honor stuff and get next season's rewards if they manage to control themselves.

I don't think players that were punished this season should be retroactively rewarded for good behavior in the next. That would send a bad message to the community that it's okay to be toxic because Riot will just keep giving you more and more chances.

As it stands right now, I think it's fair enough to allow them to try to reform for next season's rewards, but your idea isn't a good one imo.
