Account Was Perma-Suspended???
The name Uncut BBC Lover is an ambiguous name and can be taken in multiple ways, I feel as though the name isn't offensive in any way towards anyone, as it is only talking about myself, and what I enjoy, no one else is mentioned(???) BBC America is a very popular channel and I don't know why anyone would want to watch something that has been edited or censored/cut. I have seen far more offensive, less ambiguous names that are online day after day, and I've never had any offenses. I don't get this, especially considering I've had my name for like a year and a half, maybe two years, I report people all the time when they are toxic, etc. so Riot has had to have seen my name around before, and no one has done anything. I don't get the sudden action? I feel as though if I had not sent in the support ticket that resulted in my account getting locked when the whole Google outage was happening a day or two ago that led to me believe my account possibly had been compromised, I would have never had to change my name, and none of this would have happened. TL;DR My name isn't offensive, and if you are taking it in an offensive matter, why? BBC is an acronym that can have a large multitude of meanings, and even if you take offense to my name for whatever reason, would mean that you have a bias against whatever you are assuming? I don't understand, as the name is in regard to myself and directed at no one else.
EDIT: Riot never told me to change my name when I was in live chat with them resolving my account being locked due to the support ticket I sent in. I even asked the guy, who had a sense of humor and was a pretty funny guy, what he thought of my name as well, to which he made no response. At that point, or at any point after, if he had said, oh, your name is offensive because X, change your name because it is offensive, I would have changed it when I logged back in. But, where I was not told to do so and that my name was offensive when given literally the perfect setup/time to bring it up, I assumed that my name was fine, and that possibly my name was just being asked to be changed because I had "recovered" my account from potentially being compromised, as my support ticket went into detail about. That is really the main issue I have here, and I had had my name for probably 1.5 years going on two years, and bought RP and reported other players frequently, so I would assume someone at Riot somewhere would have had to have seen my name, and possibly even had a nice laugh about it? I never ran into anyone in any game I was in who openly stated to me that they were offended by my name, most people had a good laugh about it and it brought a positive impact and influence to the games I was in, causing people to laugh, have fun, etc.
EDIT:EDIT:
My big thing is just like I said, seven, going on eight years of no infractions, ever. I've had this name for as long as I have, no Rioter ever said anything to me, everybody had a good time about it. I even laughingly brought it up to the Rioter in the live chat, he doesn't say anything like "that's offensive, change your name" so like... I feel like in that regard, that's not very hard to type out or say, just tell me and that's what I would have done. I thought the name change on logging in was due to the possibility of my account having been thought to have been compromised because I sent in a ticket saying I was unable to login due to unexpected error and thought that was the problem at hand, so maybe Riot thought that was what happened and issued a name change so I wouldn't have to potentially pay for it with BE had it been an undesirable name upon logging back in. I'm very willing to admit I was wrong in that regard, apparently, I was just unaware, and I'm willing to state that and be 100% open about it. It would be crazy to think I value a C in my name or the name I have more than all the time and money I have put into this account, had I thought that I would be literally perma-banned for changing my name back to what it was because I thought it was an optional name change, I would have changed it to something else in a heartbeat. That's the only point I'm trying to make, that the way the information was relayed was poor in my opinion, and had it been relayed in an easily understandable and very clear way I would have certainly complied with what was being asked of me.
