Chat Continuation and its relation to negativity
Ok so in the pregame lobby and post game lobby people feel more free to air their dirty socks out. What I mean by this is people feel free to flame and say whatever they want because it is believed that its not recorded/ monitored. What I think should happen , is that the chat from the pregame lobby should be available to add on in game. Whatever was said in pre game lobby should just be added to the ingame chat for everyone to see. For post game, I think that riot should add a post game lobby screen shot feature when writing reports. This would allow the user to instantly capture the post game lobby and send it with the report. its a bit of a task to take a screen shot and send it to riot . This would make it quick and easy for riot employees to find the toxic player in the lobby, and would also remove any possible editing of the picture that anyone would speculate since riot would have made the screen shot feature. In the mere past 5 days, Ive gotten players who say nothing particularly toxic in game ( maybe a little passive aggresive but I can take it) , but then as soon as their outta the game they tell me to kill myself haha. The same thing can be said with pregame. We have all had that player who threatens to feed and take a role in the lobby. The team struggles to compensate, and when you are losing you try to reason with the enemy team to report the troll, but the troll plays the victim card and tells them we are lying. This would assure players that whatever is said pre and post game is in fact monitored and is very reportable. See what Im trying to say here is, while it may be recorded by riot now, players dont percieve it this way thus making them feel more comfortable to flame. With these systems in place, this comfort would be removed and these problems would be reduced. Thanks for your time.
